I have an issue. I just reset my shader cache, and I noticed that the character portraits, which were once there, have now been reverted to their vanilla counterparts. Examples of this include Wyll from the Wyll's of Toril mod, and The Dark Urge from this mod. What should I do?

To be "fair" not a single NPC even uses that head I think and it's just vanilla Balduran with elf ears. Why they even made it an option when it's so hilariously bad, I cannot fathom

I'd love to do just that. But apparently I'm blind. As I simply cannot seem to find the Assorted Fixes addon upload. Nor the Undeviled Tieflings addon, for that matter. Only 4.0 changes I see in the Realms Restored download list are the Aesthetics and Swaps files.

Also took a gander at separate mods in the BG3 section. But only found Realms Restored - Whiter, Realms Restored - Mizora and Realms Restored - Dinner with Strahd.
Guess it's time to get glasses for my glasses.

If you look at the Description, it should be under Downloads and in there, would be the "Add-Ons" tab. The Add-Ons tab should have both "Assorted Fixes" and the "Undeviled Tieflings." Unfortunately, MODHQ is not advanced enough since the tabs within tabs are not functional yet (@rusty_shackleford :whip: ) so I would direct you to the original post of the thread instead. Scroll down and you would see a Downloads tab with the "Add-Ons" tab in it clickable and accessible. There you can find those two add-ons.

Thanks, the download links in the forum thread work like a charm! I did wonder why the subtabs of the mod page were "unclickable". So that's the reason.
Still, for better visibility I'd encourage to upload at least Assorted Fixes together with the mod's main files. Prolly gets way more eyes on the hard and highly appreciated work done. =)

Not a response per se but it feels good that the mod and game's NPC aesthetics are now immersive enough and in a good enough spot that there's discourse on hair length combat viability and if a character's horns mog Raphael too hard

FR setting is a fantasy that's oriented on... well, fantasy duh. we may like capes and hoods on characters because it looks cool, even though in reality we all know it would only slow you down and cause vision and mobility problems. these users get too much into realism at this point, and FR, like many other similar fantasy settings, ain't about it. it's the same if i start writing long unnecessary posts/discussions reddit-style about tieflings having to cut their horns and tails off because it's "iMpRacTiCaL" like those ****** DMs do in their homebrew world lore

in conclusion: too much thinking over stuff that doesn't require much thinking. but i ******* agree BG3 vanilla armor is ******* ugly

Another note on this, but the Archivist has a very authoritative tone and doesn't seem like an average House of Hope slave. He clearly has a higher position, so I think having him dripped out makes sense

I'm about to start a run as a drow (once I've reinstalled the game and these mods) and was going to have those awesome glowing red eyes. You sure the option's not there? I remember seeing the glowing eyes for normal elves in the CC, so I assumed drow would have them too.
I went through every eye option, and I didn't see any for the Drow. it feels weird being the only Drow without glowing eyes. I even looked for a separate mod and got crap results. kind of frustrating for a detail so small.
Looking into this now, think it should be easy to make it a CC preset

─ Nautiloid Pod Victim
  • The female NPC found in one of the Nautiloid pod has been edited to look more like Kelly Chambers from Mass Effect. In vanilla she already bears some resemblance, and we strongly suspect Larian intended this as a cheeky Mass Effect reference ─ so we leaned into it.
  • Reference : Kelly in Mass Effect ends up cocooned in a Collector pod ─ similar in look and premise to the Nautiloid pods, which is why we're fairly sure Larian put her there on purpose.

─ RR Drow Glow Eye Colour Presets

Added 9 new eye colour presets that reproduce the signature Drow Glow seen on Drow NPCs throughout the game.
  • Drow Red 1Drow Red 6

  • More non-red colours with the same iris red glow will be added in future
With only Aesthetics installed, these are already selectable in Character Creation ─ just click "All Colours" on the eye colour picker to find them.
