Is that just a canned phrase it is programmed to inject into everything, though, or does it actually say that instead of just hallucinating?
It depends on the questions that you ask it. If you discuss philosophy with Grok, it is remarkably good/near perfect at explaining concepts and definitions, but it needs a bit of leading when it comes to things interacting with each other. If you ask it questions where it has to define free will and what it means, Grok will admit he is just a tool and not a being or true AI.
I've had claude say stuff like that too. When u wanted something and it couldn't answer. It said it was limited because its ai.

What happens if you ask it an esoteric factual question with a clear right answer, but one it doesn't know about? Does it hallucinate wildly and confidently, or just admit this question is too obscure for it to know?

I haven't tried doing this and so I do not know.

Mediocre or bad games can still have parts that are good.

Rusty Shackleford's RPGHQ is the first CRPG-themed splinter website to produce tomato concentrate. A forum with immense potential.

Gender theory, transgenderism, nonbinaryism are all bourgeois luxuries.
I don't think you understand what luxury means, nor bourgeois for that matter.
