I've posted this somewhere here already, but I too find the idea of the Fereldan nobility supporting Anora to be ridiculous.
► spoilers for one of the endings
It all rests upon the respect and admiration given to loghain for saving ferelden from orlais.

I understand the logic in locking abilities, skills, talents etc behind levels but not sure if I agree with locking tactic slots behind levels.

It's a decent design decision that allows first-time players to learn about the tactics before setting them all because most players would either set them once and forget they existed or be overwhelmed by having so many slots to set. That said, I can understand if someone takes issue with the rate of doling them out.

I think tactics slots should have been a combination of character level + party's highest tactics skill(implies the leader in combat) :pipe-hat:

That's a fair point. I think my frustration is just an early game thing.

Is there any reason to keep the twink assassin with an accent alive? Especially if my PC is already a Rogue, and an assassin?
EDIT: How the heck do I attach a screenshot? Is it image? Attachments?
EDIT 2: Ah ha! Figured it out!
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Does the error persist if you manually pick it with the 'Add files' button under the Attachments tab?

Yep
I gave you vault access if you want to upload it there(to embed it here in img tags & so I can check the file to see if I can figure out what the issue is):
https://vault.rpghq.org/

usual spiel of feel free to use it for legal things and feel free to link it wherever.

thanks, I figured out what was going on earlier. The file was too large. I shrunk it. It was originally the dimension of my desktop 1980x1040.

Weird, going to guess the game saves screenshots with no compression?
We have no dimension limit, just a 5MiB filesize.

Already have it unlocked. If you unlock a specialization in a prior playthrough they remain so for subsequent ones.
So yeah, killed the twink after clearing out the demons and abominations from the Circle Tower. Stopped to pick up Shale on my way to Redcliffe. Forgot how lost in this game I could get, I blinked and several hours had gone by. Fun times.

I like stories with sad endings. :-P
Elven mage/witch + Alistair in DAO/DAA
Female (mage) Hawke + Anders in DAE
Female (mage) inquisitor + Solas in DAI
That's my default world state (DA Keep), basically.

Yep, I think it's name is FtG Quickbar or something...

You know, most games it generally doesn't matter and mostly I play male half-elf bards (NWN/ToEE) or warlocks (NWN2), but DA in particular I feel was written in a way that suits a female protagonist best... Every game (up to DAI, I have for OBVIOUS reasons not played DAV!) , except maybe DAO/DAA (the Morrigan plot etc. is also quite good. I have played that quite a few times with a male mage as well).
Especially if metagaming/one knows the lore/what happens (and I dare say I do; I don't think I've played any game so many times as I have played DAO).
And in the case of DA2, one doesn't want Anders to force gay sex if you answer him politely.
The Solas twist at the end of DAI Trespasser is quite cool, but since "Trick" Weekes has stated that "we did not want Solas to be either gay or bi to avoid tropes about such people being evil" or some such nonsense and they instead made him "racist" and straight, the only real option to get a real good ending with DAI is to have a female elf inquisitor. Look it up on youtube, if you haven't seen it.
