The one good thing about this game is they won't be able to hide behind numerous factors to gain support, and the fact that they are going all in with a release trailer of this type of content tells me they believe they are untouchable, and have bought into the success of BG3 being an acceptance of their garbage.

I think it will be quite interesting to see how it does.

I said this in another thread, I seriously doubt anyone is going to bother modding it to any extent that was done with BG3.

BG3 is an oddity, and Act 1 while having huge problems still had a lot of EA normalcy in it (I know I know, that's a laugh), but the point is... the "cat" wasn't out of the bag fully with this game until people started playing through it and like I said, Act 1 people tolerated as well as the fact that as I said, a lot of people were already liking the game due to EA being different than what was done with release (ask @rusty_shackleford , the game was WAY different on many levels).

This game doesn't have any of the bait and switch BG3 had, nor does it have the draw of AD&D, or the established history of BG universe. They are already "all in" on the garbage and it will be dripping through every aspect of the game from head to toe. Since this is even apparent on a release trailer, there will likely be no interest from the Talents who could actually fix it to any competent level and like I said, since it is going to be "all in" from the start, there won't even be a good starting point to try and work from the good to remove the bad as the whole thing will be a steaming pile of ****.

So yes, I could be "wrong", maybe I am, but honestly... after all the work it took to clean up Act 1, and then work on the garbage of the later acts ALSO it being admitted that much of the later game is so damaged in terms of story and the like that there isn't much they can really do about it... Do you honestly think anyone is going to waste time on their new game?

I know based on the comments, most aren't even interested in even seeing it if would be worth the effort, much less committing to any attempt to that.

So, I seriously doubt it... nobody is going to bother with modding that garbage.

I, at least, won't touch that Larian woke slop. I am here as an established bg1 & 2 fan. I played the really old divinity games and divinity eco draconis, but it doesn't have the same magic as bg.

No worries, I didn't mean to come off combative, I just don't want anyone out there to get their hopes up. I just don't see it happening and to be honest, I personally don't want it to happen. I couldn't imagine the amount of work that it would take and I would rather modders focus on things they enjoy rather than trying to turn a "stale turd into a more tolerable turd".

We decided stealing just head models wasn't good enough. We've now ported assets from 36 mods into Realms Restored for usage on NPCs!

A new addon that patches No Alphabets to use assets from Realms Restored! NPCs and primarily Ser Aylin have been edited to look more unique and in line with RR.

Ser Aylin has a new head, his entries were uniquely edited, he has a set of night time camp clothes and a unique sword that matches his aesthetic.

► CHARACTER CREATION

A new addon that makes only certain skin and eye colors show for specific subraces, making it easier to create a character in-line with RR aesthetics.
It does not remove colours from CC and you can always access any missing ones in "Show All" tab.

► EYE GLOW ALT

In this addon, eye glow presets have been tweaked from pinpoint around the pupil type of harsh glow to a circular line on the outer edge with a very faint glow. It was made to be a specifically different and less bright version of the vanilla eye glow that tieflings and dragonborns have. Additionally, all gemstone colours (topaz, emerald, sapphire, obsidian, and opal), all pinks and purples (minus drow pink and drow purple), a shade of teal and a shade of white now have a similar circular glow.
It is a gentler glow, barely visible in well-lit environment and will mostly stand out only in shadows.

Now that you mention it, the post still says "Ser" instead of "Sir". By all means take my suggestion as just that, a suggestion, but "Sir" is the correct rank and, from what I can gather, "Ser" is only used in GRRM terrible hack fraud novels and its imitators, like Dragon Age and the new translation of Final Fantasy Tactics.

"Sir" would be much preferred as it is the historical term that, if memory serves right, was also used in the original BGs for Anomen and Keldorn.
