In this game, stealth can be fun at times, and sand throwing is often both practical and enjoyable. But the game leans too much towards combat, so it feels like a relatively small-scale game. On extreme difficulty, had to grind repeatedly generated enemies to gain more experience. I can see the origins of Bound by Flame and Greedfall in this game. Overall, I didn't enjoy it that much, but at least playing it makes me appreciate Greedfall more, which is nice.

Interestingly, Sean Mancer, the leader of Camp 19, is also the mentor of *The Technomancer*'s protagonist, Zachariah Mancer.

They just assign people last names based on their occupation in the commie town. Soldiers get Ward, scientists get Seeker, Technomancers get Mancer.
There's a Russian mafia called "Vory" ("Воры," though everybody pronounces it as "вори"). The protagonist used to be one of them before he got scooped by the Technomancers and went by the name Rogue.

I just wish they would make a sequel to Bound by Flame. I think it had some interesting ideas behind it that if fleshed out in a sequel would have set it apart from other games. I would take a Technomancer sequel though. Kind of sucks that they wasted time making that Steelrising game everyone forgot about almost immediately.
