I still don't get why Americans and a lot of English native countries hate the French so much.

If you look at Paris, I understand, it's filled with ****** and *******. The rest outside that shithole (and Marseille or most big cities actually ) are chill like any other place.

That's why I left Paris' suburbs a year ago and it feels good.

I liked the game a lot, but people move on. It wasn't a masterpiece but it was one of the better games to come out recently, I thoroughly enjoyed it and don't really have anything bad to say about it aside from UE5

As French, I find the inclusion of French words like "merde" "putain" really pointless. Especially when the actors have such a ****** accent and can't pronounce single words properly.

It's a shame they added such a ******** mechanic because I'd play it otherwise, I even liked the gun mechanic(it's at the same timestamp)

The fight against the three fatties at around 4:22 is a better example. One of the attacks is literally a jump towards the party with the club raised at the ready only for it to be bait, then a fake tap against the floor and then another fake swing soon after. Three separate occasions to lull the player into dodging early. Quite cheap.

I haven't seen if there is a FR dub and didn't buy the game.
Usually the French dubs are quite crappy compared to originals.

Except South Park, even after hearing the original English voices, the French voice actors did and still do an amazing work after all these years. I much prefer the French VA in that case.

Very rarely you might find a good dub but since my teenage I always watch any media in English or with the original voices.

Been playing for a while now with french dub and the voices fit the characters and sound nice.

I'm a bit surprised that the villain is called "Peintresse" (Paintress) in French as well : yes, the word exists but it's very dated, you wouldn't use it in common language.
Then again, the setting is old timey, so why not.

I'm having a wonderful time. It's not perfect but it's a wonderfully fresh game and reaching some well-deserved acclaim. The prologue and the beginning of the first Act are so well done, and the music is phenomenal.
