Bethesda employees have gotten way too used to the majority sucking their **** despite putting out a subpar product that's only gotten worse over time that this has to be mind breaking for them.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

It's a little annoying that it took this ******* long though.
The amount of **** fangoys were willing to guzzle and consoom is pretty pathetic.

Starfield ended up being the most libtarded game I've ever played due to how not in your face it is with it. It's difficult to understand if you don't play it. Once you start noticing it, you noticed it was there the entire time and it's everywhere.
What makes it stand out against any other racially diverse wonderland setting?
The scale of it. All of the game's NPC generators are set to maximum ESG score. Every single quest follows the same race and gender quota to the maximum. Every single interaction in the game is tuned to racial and gender quotas. The enemies you fight are all faceless and wearing helmets so you don't even see non-"diverse" NPCs there (usually other woke games would have you fighting whitey, but in Starfield all enemies are soulless, faceless bodies in space suits).

But the game never calls attention to it, and that makes it weirdly worse. You'll be given a quest to talk to the leading Russian scientist (or whatever he was, I forget), and when you get to his space station it's a ******. Nothing is ever said about it, no one ever comments on the Russian being a black man, it just is. When you get a quest to go talk to some group's leader it is, without fail, always a woman. No one ever comments about it, they don't have any speech prepared about how they had to fight their way to the top and beat the men, no, it's just how the game is, and after a while it is unbelievably soul-crushing because you suddenly realize this is the bleak future of Western gaming as a whole.

Every single leader a woman. Every single NPC randomly created by a woke NPC generator, like orcs from Lord of the Rings being made by Saruman. Every single quest the same as a quest from a previous game except this time it's a mixed race couple, or a pair of homosexuals asking you to help them. Every single enemy a faceless NPC body with no discernible features or characteristics other than "enemy".

You go up to a guard in New Atlantis to talk to him and he'll say "If I work late again tonight my husband's going to kill me", and you double-check to make sure it really is a male guard saying this... and of course it is. The game never remarks on it, the guards around never say anything, the homosexual guard never has any other related dialog about what he just said.

It is just banal, passive "diversity". It will make you wish for the days of yore when the game made a big a deal about their "gay NPC", because at least then it felt like the writers were backed into a corner and had to justify themselves to you. Having it be as commonplace, banal and unremarked upon as in Starfield is one of the most depressing things I've ever experienced in a video game. It is one of the most complete woke victories I've ever witnessed.

It's woke garbage but thats normal now. Baldurs Gate 3 had even more ******* and other woke **** in it and has won many GOTY awards

It's completely normalized now. Most of the gaming Community and western society in general is fine with it and even supports this ********. Sad but true

At this point games and shows etc are only getting more woke. Its crazy how much things have changed in the last 10 years. Legalizing gay marriage was the beginning of the end. Feminism also went crazy and the anti white agenda became mainstream

Yes. Being **** is its primary failing.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Considering the credits of this game are primarily pajeets I would wager Emil here is pretty disconnected from the realities of game development himself.

This game is just a storefront. The gameplay is barebones. The story is propaganda. The women are ugly.

The only good thing is the ship creator, but like... as generous as I am, I can't just buy the game full price just for that.
Inb4 no mans sky adds a ship creator with more depth than slopfield, just to **** on it.

Emil didn't like the reaction he got to his 15 post thread about how game devs are the heckin good guys.
This guys twitter feed is just gold - I hope he doesn't private.

Emil Pagliarulo - Dec 14, 2023
So, the one thing I never wanted was for my X feed to become mired in negativity. What was intended to be support and respect for game devs and the development process has morphed into something else entirely. Lesson learned.

Every time I end up on reddit via google search there's always a recommended thread with the word "toxic" in it. "Oh rusty, you're exaggerating!"
I ended up on a thread on their "fantasy" subforum last night, and this was the recommended thread under it:

What, people don't want to read the "Master of Modern Fantasy" Brando Sando? For shame! He should be required reading in every English literature class.

Sanderson's first idea for Mistborn came while reading the Harry Potter series:
Brandon Winn Sanderson[3] was born on December 19, 1975,
Full grown adults reading children's books for inspiration.

Oh it's worse than that.

Steelheart is comic books (specifically subversion (of the subversion of...) Superman).
Stormlight is weeb **** (DragonBall Z/Shonen in general, but I'm 99% positive Kallan was specifically inspired by Yuno from Black Clover, for instance).

Worse, at some point he stopped curbing his worst instincts. His writing quality post-Warbreaker has steadily declined. I'm going to finish Stormlight because I'm already on book 4 (of 5), after that never again.

I don't see what's funny about it. Like, yeah, sure, nothing he said is wrong. I would like to interrogate Emil further though. Why doesn't Bethesda just take their last game and work on fixing all the **** parts in their next game? This isn't rhetorical. I really wanna know. Would Emil blame decisions from higher up? Is it meddling from Todd? Are the ****** programmers incompetent? Would Emil take personal responsibility for any bad decisions in particular?

Because it's ****.
I don't care about how the sausage was made, I don't want to hear complaints. Bethesda could make better games 20 years ago with worse tools and a smaller budget.

If I learned anything from the Tim Cain videos, it's that old developers have long since lost their touch. All of them. I don't know if it's because they're surrounded by yes-men, whereas in the past their ideas would often be opposed and they'd have to compromise somewhere in the middle. Reading Emil's pathetic ramblings that go nowhere (and he's supposed to be a writer!), the attitude of entitlement and conceit they've developed over the years becomes clear. The hunger is gone and there's no urgency to achieve perfection.
The days are numbered / And so are words
We repeat / The same old words
