Yeah, she wants to trap you.
The world is so ****** up they think an ugly bald ****** is honey potting anyone...
Because the people who made Bloodlines 2 consider ugly bald ******* the epitome of all that is good and beautiful in the world. To them an ugly bald ****** being evil betraying you is something extremely unexpected. They genuinely thought that they subverted expectations with a clever twist when they wrote it.

Because the option to romance the granny is on par with the rest of the options as far as being disgusting goes. There's an option to romance the aforementioned muslim and the non-binary, an option to romance a leather daddy ******, an option to romance a strong independent sheboon, and an option to romance a ventriloquist dummy looking guy.
There are no romance options for normal White males.

Those are hookups. The "romance" in the game is with Safia.

Additionally the character you play is a Turk and they were only considered white in the US after 1915 when the argument was made that to say otherwise would mean to say Jesus was not white.

She's not the one who betrays you. She invites you to her club once, then the next time you interact with her, you're there to "arrest" her for a Masquerade violation.

If the game was as good as you claim it to be, you wouldn't be casually throwing around spoilers like that Roguey.

bruh

Only video I would be interested in watching is one that really gets into the behind-the-scenes, but apparently everyone's terrified of Paradox's NDAs.

Isn't this the guy who made a video defending Emil from Bethesda and then got humilitated months later when information got out that Emil did indeed not have a design document, that Starfield's main quest was wrapped up on the spot by a level designer as the Quest leads had no idea how to end their own game, etc. All of his essayslop is worthless when you know he is incapable of accepting reality.

After Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed I tried to play Bloodlines 2 but I just can't. This game is too bad in all aspects. Compared to this one OW2 and Avowed are masterpieces.
The only good thing that I encountered during my short play was a track from the first game's OST which was left unused in the released version (fans still brought it back in unofficial patches).

The best songs in the game are the original ones created to fit the mood, and not the Schaffer leftovers they tacked on to appease people upset about his absence. :turtle:

Yeah. It is called "Hollywood Hub Part 2 (Unused)" if you rip the track from game files.

Ysabella's dark club theme and boss music are my favorites.
Queen of Clubs (Ysabella\u0027s Theme) - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack
Dance with the Diva - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack

The Anarch theme which deliberately evokes Lecher *****.
Anarch Theme - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack

The melancholia of the title theme, preferable to Hardsuit's "Hey it's a re-recording of the original menu music but worse"
Frost Bites - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack

Neo-noir detecting music
The Scene of the Crime - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack

An original French aria, the grief, it is good.
Chanson de la Nuit \u00c9ternelle - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Soundtrack

I have 100%-ed the game at least once and the only track I remember is the main menu one, and it's just because of how often I opened the main menu.
I don't even remember there being a dark club theme music. I know there was a track for the boss fight, but it's just so generic that it's completely unnoticeable.

This one is the best of the five.

srsly?
I disliked original anarchs songs. They were too heavy and not melodic enough for me. But they did represent neverending meatgrinder and the rage of the revolution. They were on character.
New one is indeed fart song.

Yes, the game wasn't particularly exciting. My brain did it's best to erase all of the boring stuff i.e. 83% of the game.
And here, an entire hour of the same generic "dark club music."

The menu music is passable. I sort of remember it. The rest is generic noise to me. No grunge in Seattle, the blasphemy.

Now music by Rik Schaffer was available but they decided to go with a wet fart instead. A courageous choice.

Like making a mainline Star Wars movie and passing on having John Williams make the score. Not even KKKennedy was that stunning and brave.

4 million views in two years, seems pretty appropriate.

Grunge? The early 90s were over 30 years ago man. Rik Schaffer's unused tracks sound like music from 2004. Maybe you're from some backwards foreign country that's decades in America's past culturally, but our culture has moved on. Expecting a 90s/00s soundtrack in a 2020s game would be like expecting Bloodlines to have sounded like 70s/80s post-punk. Incongruous and impossible.

So what. If it was set in New Orleans I'd expect some jazz. That's even older.

Besides generic forgettable club music is also from the 90s.

Not really. It's just appropriate music for Bloodlines 2. Unlike the generic forgettable 90s club music.

Well you're a foreigner and wrong. I personally visited Seattle in in the 00s and absolutely no one was playing or talking about grunge, a style of music that was only ever big from 1991-96. It would be out-of-touch and cringe to put it in a 2020s game that takes place in the 2020s.
Besides generic forgettable club music is also from the 90s.
The music compilation posted was recorded and released in the 20s, not the 90s. It doesn't sound 90s to me, and I am something of an aficionado for this stuff, I used to listen to EBM and house music radio programs when I was a teen in the 90s.

Bloodlines's soundtrack is not timeless, and the game itself is not a period piece.

I visited America and absolutely nobody was talking about guns or cowboy hats or freedom of speech or big cars. And yet that's what America is known for.

That's ok I won't hold it against you. The music compilation you posted sounds like generic garbage. Could have been recorded at any point between the 90s and now. Because it has no character. It is really bad.

Wrong and wrong. You're mixing up Bloodlines and the setting. Not the same thing.
