[Solved] [Wabbajack Unlocked] "Engine Fixes did not pre-load and fixes are not active"

Post by dassi »

So im quite new to skyrim modding but not to modding itself

I got a modpack out of wabblejack and i had a bit of problems beacause im using gog but i fixed them pretty easly, but this one kinda gets on my nerves beacause it seems easy but i can't figure it out

''Engine Fixes did not pre-load and fixes are not active.

Please verify the installation of d3dx9_42.dll from the Part 2 archive.

This file must reside in the main game folder alongside SkyrimSE.exe and

be loaded by the game at runtime.''

Now im not a dumbass, i installed d3dx9_42 from nexus mods and i put it in the game folder, hell i put it in the root folder of the modpack as well but it still dosen't work :p

important info i have a cracked version os skyrim se, i have wabblejack cracked, i had some problems with skse to make it work on gog but i figure it out so now i have this
so if yall can help me i will be gratefull :knight-cross:

Right click the DLL d3dx9_42.dll, open properties, and click "Unblock" if it says that it may be blocked at the bottom of the properties window

Well that was one of the problems, i found out that mo2 was trying to run the game from the root folder whithin the modpack not the game folder so i had to copy paste my game file into that root folder and it did the job but that unblock thing prob helped as well so thank you(tbh i was serching that reddit for a post like that and i couldn't find any)
