[Pokémon Nova] Get rid of Pronouns!

A nonprofit game development team called Phion Games just released their latest Pokémon Fangame titled "Pokémon Nova", which takes place in Ultra Megalopolis, home to the game's flagship Pokémon Necrozma. It does have some improvements from the previous titles, such as controller support and widescreen support, and the trailers made it look like a cool adventure. However, while the character customization does not explicitly ask about genders or body types, opting to choose a "photo" of a purple/cyan haired boy or a curvy red haired girl, upon entering your name,
THE GAME ASKS FOR YOUR PRONOUNS!!!!

I was hoping that it might be possible to mod this title to not have the professor ask you this question, and instead use either male or female pronouns depending on your choice. According to this AI summary:

If anyone would like to take a crack at modding this game to not let you choose pronouns, and instead default to He/Him or She/Her, depending on your decision, I would really appreciate that.
If not, then if anyone knows how to mod a game made with RPG Maker XP using Pokémon Essentials, I'm willing to take a few lessons.
