Manor Lords - Early Access out now

Almost four months of no discussion on this game. How is it shaping up? I've seen comments that it's similar to Stronghold in some regards. Is this true? A game that combines aspects of Banished and Stronghold would be nice.

TBH I'm worried the game is veering towards being overdesigned. Last time I reinstalled it was about a month ago and the chill fun this game used to provide is simply gone. Maybe the game is in a transitional state, but the reality is simply it's not worth bothering with it until it's actually finished. Current version is simply not fun IMO.
