I am trying to change the character creation text in Palworld, yet I can't seem to figure out how. I found a mod that changes the whole game to UWU speak, but I can't figure out how to replicate that, does anyone have any knowledge on how I can change the text in Palworld?

That shithead loon Tim Sweeney (Head of Epic, chief of Unreal Engine team) talks a lot of ******** about modding, but that engine is the most mod hostile thing you can make without deliberately locking **** down like Styg.
It's no more difficult to mod than anything else using that engine. The problem is finding stuff in that digital shitheap that UE makes games into.

I asked AI and it said u need some unpacker tool but I could never get it to work

Fmodel and/or UAssetGUI.
But you usually need an AES key (cryptographic decoder key) for Fmodel
And you need to set the correct UE version for UAssetGUI (if they've made a version with a compatible UE version, and they haven't for all afaik).
And with UE 5, you need to use a tool (UE4SS/RE-UE4SS dumper) to generate a mapping file (.usmap) as well, because the engine doing it on compile and storing a few hundred bytes as a file was "wasteful" or some ********.

It's stupidly complex.

Yeah I think I tried fmodel. Actually I think my main issue was that I needed to install Unreal Engine but the official epic games installer for UE doesnt even work lmao.

I never have and I've modded HumanitZ and SurrounDead. UE4 and UE5 respectively.
