Give it a couple of years time, they are still busy working through some beginner UE tutorials...maidenhaver wrote: ↑ July 11th, 2024, 15:03Oh man, female dwarves? They have no clue what they're doing.

It looks... interesting. Not gonna lie it's spent a pretty egregiously long amount of time in the "conceptual" phase and while I'm glad to finally see some real dev diaries it definitely looks like it's got a long way to go to get out of the "early unity project destined for doom" valley. I'd say I'm "cautiously curious".

Remember trolling them on their discord with The Wall pointing out that Julian had written zero lines of code after 2 and a half years, although it looks like it's finally in the pre-pre-pre-alpha stage now. I wouldn't get your hopes up, because it's never coming out.
I remember reading that article quite a while ago. Recently Indigo was on a podcast with bunch other YouTubers discussing the game about its kickstarter.

Totally forgot about it. Just checked their Steam page, not a single update post-KS. That won't end well...

Typical centrist leftist ( rarely show his political leanings in his videos) but not a progressive which is a rarity for extremely long form video essayist.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ November 20th, 2024, 01:23need a qrd on this guy's sociopolitical views before I watch his videosUnhelpful Contrarian wrote: ↑ November 19th, 2024, 23:41Gastrick wrote: ↑ September 8th, 2023, 00:24

whenever i see fpp fanatasy rpg/pesudo rpg i see pointless product, rape theme wise.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ November 20th, 2024, 08:37@Red7 name idea for your mod
while now all ppl are gay and kuked before full castration occured, all porn mods that could be done were done for skyrim. beside my which is work in progress forever.
no point trying to compete with somewhat competent base and millions of free workhours of porn mods to it. it cannot be beaten. at least untill ai will autmate process enough.
concentration of focus is effcient. why bother mod other shit when something better or good enough is already here.
what i would like to see is good cyberpunk game. something like crime cities where u upgrade your hover car but with added fpp combat and some cyborg fuckmeats to collect.

This game is never going to come out and when it finally does come out five years late, unfinished, and being worked on by jeet interns nobody will care anymore and the lawsuits will be well underway.

They could have made cigarette money without losing money, by opening a patreon, and making daggerfall mods. Not by charging for the mods, but grifting on their names. Would have netted a bit from the four or five simps who remembered them.

Strange to fund people who had made next to no progress for 5 years, with one of the founders of the project announcing publicly that he doubts it'll actually get made and then jumping ship.
Also would have thought that Starfield would have killed any hype around a modern proc-gen RPG.

Probably longer.
You didn't account for Moore's video game development law which doubles the time in development every 2 years.

I remember in Plebeian TV’s video on Morrowind he tried to justify the hit chance system by playing a clip of some Japanese girl cutting a tatami mat which he probably gooned to. He somehow thought that this clip of a more skillful strike leading to superior damage to the target was a good argument against Skyrim’s skill to damage system, probably because he was distracted by feeling trans-validated by her kawaii celebration after the cut.Unhelpful Contrarian wrote: ↑ November 19th, 2024, 23:41Gastrick wrote: ↑ September 8th, 2023, 00:24A good article on it:Vergil wrote: ↑ September 8th, 2023, 00:02Anybody keeping up with this?
