What Does The Mod Do?
It overhauls hundreds of NPCs, quests and the game's writing and dialogue so that the experience now aligns more with what you would expect from a caricatured America that never moved on from its 1950s Atomic Age culture. No more sassy girl boss raiders, modern demographics, modern political posturing or modern writing tropes.

Dozens of main characters have been reworked and revoiced, and the dialogue of several quests has been adjusted along with several scenes being changed. This project was massive, and it took almost a year to complete.

1.19 changes:

Minor update.

Fixed a few bugs with the loading screens where NPC's textures weren't showing up.

So fairly "big" update.

Not many changes on the user's end, but I removed the "chargen face preset" flag on a lot of the mod's edited NPCs and I generated their new facial meshes.
Basically, this just means better performance for some users.

I also fixed an issue where some Minutemen NPCs had female voices still due to a way certain Quests handle NPC aliases.

Using Xedit, ReaperAnon cleaned the esp and fixed the deleted references that can cause crashes.

I reached out to the author of this mod, AmericanKrogan, and stated I was willing to mirror his mod for him after it was censored by NexusMods and placed under review by moddb, and he did not seem to have an issue with us mirroring it. Anyway I played it a little last night. Didn't notice any changes to the long and cringe beginning sequence and still saw three nogs, but then I got to Preston and realized that that mod wasn't activated. After looking up and trying to remember how mods work I got new preston working. He looks great, but his new white voice is just as bad as the old black voice. Very grating wise-guy voice that seems unsuited to a guy wearing a cowboy hat and duster.

I'm gonna try to head straight to diamond city tonight and see how much that's changed.

I am reminded of how shit a voiced protag is and how much I'll miss being able to walk around or away during conversations in Starfield.

I'm 8 hours in now and I haven't seen a single non-white. The most diversity is Takahashi the noodle robot. Other than Preston the new voices blend in really well.

I've heard about this mod. I didn't know it was made by AmericanKrogan. His YouTube videos were great and very entertaining to watch.
