Would you be willing you open a Patreon or SubscribeStar?
I know it sounds faggy.. but it gives a level anonymity between donator and donatee.
I looked into SubscribeStar before, it seemed decent enough. I understand privacy is important so I'll look into opening an account there tomorrow.
I tried to open an account but never heard anything back from the review.

It's cause RPGHQ doesn't generate enough porn that is banned on patreon.. :smug:

(all joking aside - update this thread when that status changes)

I don't think it's going to.

Again, I'll recommend https://privacy.com/ , not specifically for donating but for just using your card online without linking it to your information. Allegedly you can use any name you want when using their virtual cards, I've switched over to using them for purchases.

You mean how much was donated total?
$313.38.

Being spent on a 5 year domain renewal and a year of hosting fees. Some leftover will go towards a separate server to handle the Vault service.
Thanks goes to everyone who donated. I'll set up a (donor anonymous, unless someone wants their forum name to be noted) breakdown at the end of the year.

EDIT:
$313.38 is the payout after Stripe's cut, not before, to be clear. So the total donated is a bit higher.

Greetings Esteemed Forum Members,

I hope this message finds you in the pinnacle of good health and soaring spirits. I am King Rustford Shackleton, the lord of the vast digital kingdom known as RPGHQ.

As fate has conspired, I find myself in a precarious situation requiring urgent financial support to sustain the impeccable quality of our digital sanctuary. Regrettably, the royal treasury—although substantial—is momentarily inaccessible due to circumstances far too intricate to explain in the constraints of this correspondence.

I therefore humbly beseech your intervention, as a benevolent benefactor, to donate generously to our cause. As a token of gratitude for your magnanimity, I hereby promise to reward you manifold with the unparalleled satisfaction of having contributed to the longevity and prosperity of RPGHQ.

All you must do is contribute through our secure donation portal, and the treasures of our forum shall be unlocked to you in perpetuity.

Please, time is of the essence.

May wealth and prosperity grace you henceforth.

Sincerely,
King Rustford Shackleton
Sovereign of RPGHQ

For the ESLs: This is meant to be comical, my bank account was not frozen.

Absolutely 100% schizo fake news. In fact, Monero is the only truly secure cryptocurrency in regular circulation.

Also, The Daily Stormer prefers donations in Monero. That should tell you all that you need to know.

https://dailystormer.in/support-the-dai ... nd-monero/
This decision to switch to Monero was due to a number of different issues, the most important being the privacy of the donor. Bitcoin can be sent anonymously, but it isn’t by default, and it appeared that some people were not being totally secure with the way they sent their Bitcoin. Bitcoin donations to right-wing sites are being increasingly scrutinized by the media, as they look to get white people fired from their jobs. The last thing we want is for someone to get in trouble for supporting us.

Did you ever figure out a private way to donate without crypto?
Because I'm a lazy moron and I can't be bothered to try to figure out a way to buy crypto in my fucked country without dealing with scammers or government flunky bank assholes.
Unfortunately, I live in Canada. You know, the place where the politicians fucked people for donating to the trucker protest with the full assistance of the scumbag banks.

Why does @rusty_shackleford want people who donate to his forum to be identified and fired from their jobs for "hate speech"? Why does he want that?
