The author basically says it could mean an internal thing and not merely some chip or whatever. I.e. by not following God's commandments we are dooming ourselves and vice versa by being good people we uphold the armor of God. He cites mistranslations of newer Bible translations and other stuff for his reasoning. Interesting take imo. I like his content in general.

IMO, mark of the beast might refer to genetic markers, such as having Canaanite DNA.
