GemRB 0.9.2 released! (Dragon’s horde edition)
The GemRB team is proud to announce a new major release.

It brings in many improvements for Planescape: Torment, configurable AI speed, improved performance and others. Notably GemRB now also supports PVR(Z) based formats, making content creation easier, most new opcodes/actions/triggers and together with some infrastructural changes, BG2EE games can now be loaded (still not playable though!).

- support for higher AI speeds ("FPS") and VSync

v0.9.4 released, IWD2 is now completable start to finish. EE support is being worked on.

Which means GemRB is now a full replacement for all of the original IE games.

You know if this works with "the original saga" or something like that on GOG, Rusty? I think they push EE first and foremost, but we who purchased these when GOG actually was GOG still have access to the pre-EE games. I am unsure if the file structure is known to gem though. I think it was not supported previously (probably 7-8 years ago I looked at gem last... I lnow it works or used to work for the disc version/s ).

Yes, it's for the original non-EE games.
