When a dead franchise is better off dead. It doesn't even make sense from an IP perspective, what does a ****** protagonist have to do with fairytales or high fantasy?. Absolutely nothing. They do it for demoralization of course, but what is the "official" reason?. Will we ever get one?.

The first Fable was in fact good. I hear the second one was good too, but I'll never find out since it was never on PC. Third one is **** though.

Fable is a solid action RPG. It's simple, has a lot of visual charm, and isn't trying to be anything more than what it is. Despite the snake oil Peter Molyneux was selling at the time.

Of course if the reboot game was made by actual designers and actual gamers, they would see an opportunity to realise all those outlandish promises with the current technology we have nowadays. They could very well simulate a tree that grows out of an acorn, and all that. But even that is asking too much from these ********. You will get repackaged AAA game mechanics in a realistic art style, with buttfuck ugly characters that will constantly belch out snarky lines, in a game that will die within two weeks of launch and will probably be unplayable at release.
