I keep seeing this global trend of not even acknowledging any election losses. This is a worldwide phenomenon on all sides of the political spectrum. If you lose, it's never legitimate - the election was stolen, the voters were bribed, cheated, or misled, it's due to fraud, etc. Anything to avoid facing the inevitable fact that maybe your candidate was shit and failed. It's like you deny the voters of the opposing side any agency. Either you vote for us, or your vote is misguided, fraudulent, or doesn't count in some other way.
