Blizzard devs announced they are ditching pve entirely, the entire reason given for overwatch 2's existence in the first place.
The absolute state of blizzard, apparently the only things the devs still know how to do is renaming characters and making them gay.
Otrherwise i pity the poor mofos who actually paid any amount of money for OW2, really hope you're enjoying your 2 "exclusive" skins that no one will use as it's pretty much all your 80 dollars got you.

I played OW1 a lot before I moved and my new internet connection was too bad to play anymore, which used to bother me a lot because I had been quite good, but in retrospect I probably got out at the exact right moment to avoid all the decline that followed.
Blizzard is a shit show, it's always fun hearing about it when some journalist in Counterstrike I watch goes off on them. Overwatch itself, who gives a fuck, it's primary playerbase are troons, furries, and retard females who started gaming recently. Whenever I meet a girl who calls herself a gamer, I always say "you play one of Valorant, Overwatch or Phasmophobia" and it hasn't failed me yet.

In WhiteShark's defense I used to dabble in Overwaif 1 quite a bit too. If you've ever played ranked on NA then there is a good chance we crossed and raged at each other for being retards.
Was a mercy main but WAIT HEAR ME OUT before you judge me. Before support classes seemed to have become associated with female players getting carried by their bfs I mained medic when medics looked like this:
And mercy is basically a powered up version of most medics i've ever dabbled with because the bitch can fly and jfc that is huge, flying around the battlefield (preferably whilst not getting sniped by widow mains) combined with tf2s ez heal spray (back in my day you had to physically walk up to people to heal them) was good zen fun for me whilst it lasted. When I was in the zone i'd be like a fighter jet zipping around the combat area except unloading heals instead of rockets. Getting chased by genjis was legit a dog fight as had to do all sorts of ace combat maneouvres to shake the barstard off.
But I can't even do that anymore even if I wanted to overlook everything else Blizz did wrong because 5v5 and narrow tight corridor map design is completely at odds with healers roaming from one side of the map to the other. Since healers have to be glued to the main frontline tank Mercy might aswell be ditched for the TF1 medic or any other medic from that era.

Don't forget Coomers, there was a time when the meta in non ranked games was trying to zarya grav ball as many of the female characters on the enemy team as you could so a torb could pour his hot liquid over them and cause a cacophony of suspicious sounding "on fire" sounds.

It was pretty funny when every new character released was a faggot, a nigger, or a nigger faggot. They also turned existing characters, such as Tracer, the Soldier and Reaper into faggots too.

Despite the reputation of supports for being played by females, everybody knows that the best support players are still men. I had great respect for cream-of-the-crop Mercy players who could push her maneuverability to its limits. When I had to play support I stuck with Ana since, as a DPS player, there was a large skillset overlap; actually, if I remember correctly, it was an Ana game that got me GM. I can't recall my exact stats anymore but McCree was probably my most played. I just wanted to click heads.

Meanwhile Blizzard by contrast threw a hissy fit and tried (unsuccesfully) to do something about the gratuitous amounts of porn made about overwatch. Because no fun allowed.
Shouldn't be surprised about Jason Schreir or any journo running defense and damage control for Blizz, they are after all one of the "good guys" very happy to virtue signal for all the right causes whilst gleefully throwing away their old guard down to the dogs whenever some less then pc behavior is found out about them (to this day I still have no fucking idea what the EVIL jesse mcree did that was so bad they gave him the Stalin photo treatment, oh no blizzard devs back in the day got tail from willing female fans, the horror!).

For those who still care: Blizzard released a glossy animated short about being gay because yup it's that cursed time of the month again. And with recent oopsies they pulled out the big guns, making TWO characters gay this time. Phew that should show those bigots!
So yeah if anyone wants to see Pharah talk about being a lesbian to Baptiste who is now a confirmed monkeypox enthusiast, Blizz has you covered.
They also removed a police car from some map because police is somehow hostile to lgbqtia even though it's the police that will enforce the morality laws on their behalf, but eh, not like anyone is still playing the game so no one will notice the difference anyways.

ROFL I'd say this is blizzard's biggest humiliation yet, to come begging to steam for an injection of players to revive a dying game.
Also have a thought for those poor mofos who paid 60 bucks for overwatch 2 when they tried selling it full price, only to reverse course to make it free for those who owned the first game. Then made it free for everyone because players were fleeing like rats on a sinking ship.
And now they giving it for free to steam users too.
Mind you, even free i wouldn't recommend this game but hey at least the steam forums for this game are fun, it's trolls galore in there.
