People can have justifiable issues with ME2 but ME3 was really the exact moment Bioware as a company just immediately started eating their own shit as fast as possible.

Personally I like that they went with Troy Baker for the Chinese ninja assassin

I liked the part where Cerberus went from a small but well funded secretive clandestine group to the Empire from Star Wars with the resources to cause a massive galactic civil war in the middle of the reaper invasion.

I liked Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 well enough.
There was some stupid shit, but they were generally good.

I never even bothered pirating ME3, much less playing it.
I pretend that it doesn't exist.

At least ME3 is a somewhat competent shooter that moves the plot forward (towards retardedness, but still), and not a clunky half-shooter where 90% of the time you help your party members to overcome their daddy issues.

Did ME1 let you beat the shit out of space monkeys or am I thinking of some other game?

I don't want cows and chickens to have 90 IQ.
To be honest I think that many animals are more clever than the NPCs cellphone zombies, suicidal cyclists & pedestrians, 'entitled' customers, streetshitters... you see outside. I get what you mean though.

Alpha Protocol, the Espionage RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, is making a grand return 14 years after its initial premiere. With conjoined forces of GOG, Obsidian Entertainment and SEGA, we’ve made sure to make it better than ever; compatible with modern PCs, with licensed soundtrack and performance improvements that are sure to make this timeless classic, yet again, your favorite spy story.
sadly not on steam.

That reminds me, I've got to play 3 and Andromeda someday. Still have the repacks.

Valve could have paid the licensing fee for Turn Up the Radio if they truly cared about bringing it back to their store, but they didn't. Since GOG paid for it, they get the exclusive rights to it. They have to make that money back somehow (which is also why they're charging $20 for it).

i'm not asking them to bring it back for sale, i'm asking them to update the game for people who already bought it.

Sega didn't spend the money, GOG did. They would like to get that money back, and letting a competitor have a free update doesn't really benefit them. :)

Even without AI, that's just a bit over 7 guides/writer/week. Unless 'guide' means "full guide for an entire game", that seems like very little work at all.

Great, now every time I want to lookup what some obscure game mechanic does. I will have to suffer some retarded kotaku "guide" about how to get past the start screen

tbf I sometimes have questions not unlike these, a small mechanic in a game I can't figure out so I google it real quick. I don't ever use guides for an entire game, but I'm fine with looking up something small if I can't figure it out after trying for a bit. Whoever told them to make these is obviously aware of it.

Jonathan Blow's next game has already cost him $20m. He insists that's not a hyperbole.

I really hate Gloves of Hill Giant Strengthesque items. Super fucking boring and they're always best in slot. Boring boring boring.
