AFAIK NordVPN is no longer considered a 'recommended' VPN due to various incidents I'm not personally knowledgeable of.

I personally use Mullvad when needed, but heard good things about ProtonVPN.
I used it when I had to share internet access.
Got a feeling VPNs will eventually be a thing of the past because everyone is going to have to just block them. No other way to deal with massive amounts of harmful traffic from a handful of sources.Rand wrote: ↑ March 8th, 2025, 10:28I used it when I had to share internet access.
It's decent, but it's being used by scammers now so it's got very full, slow, servers in most of the west. Especially the free ones.
The paid Proton servers are better, but can still be clogged up.
Canada is especially bad. All those scamming jeets...
Rusty banning Asians.
Works on my machine.
I run into issues from time to time, but I also switch VPN servers quite frequently.
