Are there any rules for topics?

Post by DagothGeas5 »

I do not wish for my inexperience with actually partaking in an online forum to be a bother so I usually restrain myself from making topics even though it would probably be the best course of action as I end up possibly derailing threads with my questions, so I wanted to ask, as I failed to find anything, is there anything I should know about on making topics? My worry is that I may make a topic to ask a question, be answered, thank you, and then it's a sore in the eye seeing an entire topic with just three posts hanging around, making possibly far more interesting arguments or funny posts be further buried. Making an exception this time as, if I never ask, this will never get solved, so I'd rather be a fool now than possibly being an even more of a bother in another way.

It really does not matter, I mean at worst there is no interest in your topic.

Be catty Vergil, absolutely  irl I am told I can be cruel with my joking, but I think everything can be poked fun at with enough imagination. I restrain myself online and with some types of peole irl as I don't feel as "free" to have fun when I know I would be souring things unnecessarily without knowing them on a personal level (or they just get mad at anything, in which case it's just sourgrapes), and I find that deeply limiting. Don't feel that way too! I deeply appreciate your wit in finding things to poke fun at

It doesn't matter that to me, I speak to myself at times XD My issue is if it clutters, but if it's fine I can post a few when I have some questions I fear might burden an ongoing conversation.

Rusty is a fan of crazy or silly threads.
I am too, but I do not trust myself to adding anything worthy of being fun, at least not until I can get past the "break the ice" thing I have with everything and everyone, and even then I am not sure how fun I can be, especially compared to you all  I prefer to observe in these cases.

Always be pro-kobold in your postings and good things shall flow unto you.

I usually use the search function for a topic to prevent repeat topics.

I’ve made some horrendous slop threads and was rewarded with moderator powers. Don’t worry about it
