I have hope that this will actually be good.
The dev seems to get it, if you read his Steam posts: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app ... 0297804933
But I'm not at all sure how long it will be until release.

Seems to be made by a Japanese solo dev.

(The twitter posts are worth a look if you like game development.)

Ossian with a new game, but sadly Kickstarter. They made some pretty nice campaigns though.

Is it another mobile game?

Also Pathfinder 2E? Yuck.
As one example: you have to take an action to raise your shield to get any defense bonus from it.
As in INSTEAD of moving or attacking.
Shields
Source Player Core pg. 274
A shield can increase your character's defense beyond the protection their armor provides.
Your character must be wielding a shield in one hand to make use of it, and it grants its bonus to AC only if they use an action to Raise a Shield.
This action grants the shield's bonus to AC as a circumstance bonus until their next turn starts. :golf clap:
A shield's Speed penalty applies whenever your character is holding the shield, whether they have raised it or not.
I'll leave aside goblin PCs and, of course, Paizo's degenerate shitlib bachelor's degree wokeness.

Doubt that they would do a Kickstarter for a mobile game. That's their only game I never played, bit its supposed to be relatively good

Looking at their previous games, Age of Gladiator I + II, I wouldn't have much hope for this one. Trailer also looks like they have smashed together that game in 2-3 months.

Well, I checked their twitter and they retweet a bunch of anti-woke guys, so I'm actually going to follow it now…

[edit]
Being anti-libtard doesn't mean I give a pass for low quality, it just makes me a bit more interested. I'll see how it unfolds.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about woke content either. 2 genders, no body type or other nonsense...

Some Russian Gothic?-clone just entered EA. Ugly, most certainly janky, no idea about if it's any fun. Doesn't look like it though.

Isometric, tb, 4-party RPG.

Early access starts next week, 9th Aug.

It's a 2-men project. I like that they seem to fully focus on exploration and combat. There is no talk about an epic storyline, c&c, romances etc. Also, permadeath.

We got a review key for this, I passed it off to @Oyster Sauce.
(Not because he's a moderator, but because he's the only one who wanted it.)

He said it's actually really good iirc, we'll see if he writes a review or not.

They seem to be pretty confident if they are sending out keys for EA, and it sits at 98% on Steam. Interesting...
