could 550 usd setup outperform 20k analog tubes? in some situations YES;
china china NUMBA ONE
nvg30 vs 3 gen analog pros cons tldr;
► Show Spoiler
pros;
-superior in areas with lots of ambient light sources/urban areas
-ability to see colors/recognise ir vs regular light signatures
-ability to zoom in/hud functions with compass, selecting color hue etc
-resilient to sunlight damage
-slightly lighter (altho uses heavier batteries)
-ability to record
-much cheaper/wont be afraid to leave in car if u r oppulent murican. like that one guy said "i wont leave my 20k nodes in car behind thin glass so any nigger can jack it"
cons
-inferior in very low light conditions to gen3
-limited field of view due to gay 16x9 display
-its like vr so it will fuck up your esyesight more with prolong use
-bit delay so it could be issue when driving car at high speed
so i watched one jewtuber fag who put 350 usd nvg10 on 200 usd retardedly overpriced murican bump helmet and be like "u are in the game"
here i suggest how u can get working setup under 550 usd based on nvg30. which unlike nvg10 is fully minecraft capable including passive, active aming and even negro aiming.

nvg10 was miltary contract for china to provide cheap as fuck/digital nightvision system that could (mostly) do the job as gen 2/3 nv.
it kinda failed. nvg10 become popular budget nv beacuse its clarity and sensitivity compared to other often more expensive digital stuff but still required ir illuminator for low light enviroment (maybe u could get away with full moon night at most) noticeable delay, low field of view as well as inability to deal with strong ir light sources like passive/active aiming devices, which made it questionable for serious minecraft usage.
device was also set with its ir illuminator always on so u light your ass up all the time for anyone with nv/ir sensitive device, unless u ductape it or something.
nvg30 improvements;

-increases field of view from 20 to 40 degree (still on shitty 16x9 ratio oled hd display, they should use 4;3 like wtf even in china they dont make that ratio in hd anymore i guess) because its 16x9 field of view is still shit comapared to analog (like 60% of analog) but very usuable
-they put some high end soyny sensor so it picks up light with sensitivity pretty much on par with gen2+ tubes. nvg10 was somewhere between gen1 and gen2. still inferior to gen 3 but usable in passive mod beside extremly low light conditions. view does not explodes with bloom (unless its really strong light) from near light sources, it works well for passive aiming as long as red dot is set in low mode.
i have read one guy said he prefers nvg30 over analog 3gen in urban area because it deals with background lights much better.
-reduced lag and added picture mode where u can small window with zoomed out image
-added color function. in sunlight color mode is fucked and gets purple hue cause ir waves from sun i guess but inside lighted room all colors are well visible. even in dim conditions u can recognize some colors unlike on analog and also recognize if light source is ir or not (ir lights aup as blue/violet).
nvg30 is around 500 usd for set with mount and 550 with helmet but same helmet u can buy separately for 10 usd.
5 usd for velcro back pocket as counterweight to helmet
10 for 850 nm ir flashlight so u can illuminate while passive amiming by mounting on helmet or your airsoft.850 is bit more visible than 940 but throws light much better.
5 usd for flashlight mount
all up 530 usd. less than nvg10 with retardedly ovepriced murican bump and vastly more capable.
for hot weather use i got cap with bump insert to reduce that skull crushfeeling after couple hours of wearing mounted shit
0.5 kg weight velcro on back of cap for balance.
helmets shouldnt have holes like some gay bumps do imo, im use them in winter or when it rains. without high cut for gay ear protection i got some wind cover and still can hear shit. for bumb helmet back pocket counterweight i just use 4 backup batteries, i got there also usb cable so i can power from powerbank.
nvg30 uses 18650 in 4-5 hr.
ir flashlight on other side balances helmet as well, uses same battery type.
