There are other layouts?

Norman, workman, colemak, colemak-dh, aset etc.
Mostly to reduce same finger bigrams and row jumping though. No indication of increased typing speed.

If I have to type something fast I usually just type it in my phone and then paste it to my desktop, or I just use autocorrect software and let it fix typos so I don't have to worry about accuracy.

Lookup Dvorak layout, it will increase your speed far more if you get used to it. Qwerty is like VHS, it is subpar standard that was accepted when Beta was far superior. Also reduces repetition injuries as it has a more natural feel.

I wonder how a different keyboard layout would increase speed, but maybe I’ll check it out some day. I’m pretty content at 120-130 WPM

A lot of it is based on the home row and what is more commonly used. By simple logic, a home row response is faster than the other rows. Less that you have to move, the less time spent. So you can speed up and develop faster. It is harder to switch to because it is quite different:

Colemak is a compromise, it is a qwerty base that was modified to be more efficient like Dvorak.

(previous one kept for posterity, thank you Element for letting people know!)
► Show Spoiler
I have always been fascinated by typing speed, and, from my own experience with keyboards as a layman on the many names of the tech, I have found some to be better than others personally. (I used to play piano, so my way to express this might be affected) To me, some keyboards' keys are tougher or heavier to press than other keyboards' keys, where you can just glide your hand over it and it types away. How deep the finger is pushed down after pressing a key also is a factor, the old keyboards had taller keys and, though I vastly preferred them for how light their keys were, they often gave me a disadvantage to quickly move one finger to another place on the board. I also suffer from ever-cold hands, so my fingers are locked at the joint at times, which makes typing a challenge not as much as actually pressing the keys, but having to go back and forth to fix all the spelling mistakes XD
It is a fun thing to test out, thank you for sharing!

That is very interesting. I am self-taught, but I type like the first picture-video-thing (gif? lel, keeping what I just typed to laugh at it later), only difference is that I keep the pinkies and thumbs as if I was playing the piano (wide apart, span I think it's called in English). Never realized! Fascinating to see, I usually only stare at the screen when I type. Is it usual for people to raise their thumbs like that when self-taught typing?

To try and identify someone as the content creator, it requires control of the device to avoid interim scramblers and inability to differentiate environment changes (ie changes in behavior from physical to mental) causes authentication issues which would require multi-factor authentication as an additional layer.

Very unreliable, as are a lot of biometric methods.

Loregamer took the test with punctuation enabled, and so far only Nammu has done likewise.
As for Dvorjak, do note that the other layouts like Norman and Colemak are recent, and as such still felt the need to improve upon it.

Middling results.

I think I'd prefer a test with a comprehensible sentence though. The nonsense wasn't working for me.

I could swear I clicked on punctuation, will re-do it for consistency, thank you for the info!
