Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery

Post by The_Mask »

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery faithfully recreates MICA Team’s Codename: Bakery Girl (2013) with revamped graphics, new gameplay mechanics, and expanded narrative.

30 years after the events of Girls’ Frontline, Antarctic Union (AU) special agent Mendo goes on an important mission in the heart of the North Caucasus. Unexpectedly ambushed by the forces of the Union of Rossatrism Nations Coalitions (URNC), his situation takes a dramatic turn with the appearance of Jefuty, the mysterious silver-haired “Bakery Girl.” Together, they traverse hostile terrains, unraveling the dark secrets shrouded within the GRAVIRUL Project.

Game Features
Classic Tactical RPG: command a diverse roster of characters, each with unique skills and abilities. Masterfully orchestrate tactical maneuvers and leverage a vast arsenal of advanced weapons and crafted items to navigate through and triumph over challenging situations.

60+ Campaign Stages: navigate through a variety of intricate missions while balancing strategic elements such as stealth, unique stage mechanisms, and varied terrains. Overcome these challenges to achieve the coveted S-rank status.

Immersive storytelling: vibrant illustrations and 2D animations work together to deliver every encounter with heightened intensity and emotional impact.

The Original Saga Retold: with a script exceeding over 300,000 words, the expanded narrative goes beyond recreating the intense battle over two days. Stay alert for hidden depths and untold stories that bring new dimensions to the saga.

If any JRPG fans are interested in some real depressing stuff, here it is.

I have no idea what I'm looking at in this game, but I do find this funny:

Has anyone actually played this? I used to be a gatchafag and GF(L) was pretty good as far as phone games go, so I have somewhat high hopes.

I probably will eventually but I'm doing my usual wait-for-updates thing. Gameplay clips I saw on imageboards made it look fun and it has a Japanese dub.

I stumbled into this thread expecting it to be about mockery of Japanese titles, where their titles are all just random word salad, or OVERLY SPECIFIC DESCRIPTORS OF THE ENTIRE PLOT AS A TITLE. This name is definitely the former.

Well, you wouldn't be able to tell from the look. I would have figured the Chinks still hated the Japs.

I really like it now 30 hours in, the gameplay and the level design really ramps up around 1/3 way in and the end of chapter 3 is pure kino.
