In the grove, the half-elf druid sending a bird to find Halsin refers to him as a her when you ask what she told the bird. Something like, "She needs to know. You do not." If you talk to the bird with animal speaking it has a clearly male voice. This is a tiny thing but it has always bugged me.

Well, first, it's a bird. Birds don't really map directly to "male" and "female" voices. If a bird wants to sound like a man, a woman, or a ******* ambulance, it CAN.

It's not chirping or mimicking sounds, it's the telepathic voice you hear from every animal when you're under the Animal Speaking spell, and those voices are dependent on the animal's sex. It's not a huge deal, Apikusis could just be an ignorant druid I guess. Bird species do have sexual dimorphism though.

The druids there can't be the brightest if Halsin is the pick of the litter.
