I would recommend actually clicking those little arrows and reading that these were almost entirely support roles and the only air regiments who did anything of note were co-ed regiments with one of them only having 2 female "aces" at 5 each (the min requirement) and one regiment was handed over to a man.
These women are considered cream of the crop exceptional for managing to achieve the lowest brackets of male success in the field.
This isn't even to mention the propaganda factor at the time. Women were put into support roles due to high casualties and then it was spun as a victory for socialist equality.

I would like to point out that there is already an in-game way you can do that. The class change option the game offers you extends to the origin characters. So you can make Lae'zel a wizard for example.

I used to be in the military. I was in a mixed unit due to my MOS.

Things female soldiers are good at:
Medical Stuff (They are great at giving IVs, nursing etc.)
Getting Pregnant
Sleeping with most of the enlisted men (including me!)
HR maybe?
Complaining

They are not good at:
Fighting
Carrying Heavy Things (The shorter ones with smaller tits seemed better at this)
Getting Dirty
Staying Quiet
Not Complaining
Leading (They go overboard because they don't understand how men lead, they think they have to be bitches and mean non stop to win respect)

I could tell countless stories from basic training to AIT to actually being in a unit about all the times female soldiers were not as good as men.
Consider that these were the physically fit and athletic women who volunteered to join and they were still mostly way less fit than the average man in the unit. Military standards for women are way lower than men but they still have them.

One time we were doing combatatives and I accidentally sprained one of the female soldiers arms because the NCOIC was being a dick and wouldn't let me go half strength as I usually did for females because I didn't want to hurt them. Women soldiers are a farce, if you keep them far from the front lines and have them doing support or something with a gun that can shoot far away they might be okay but on the frontlines they are a liability.

There's been talk of making a mod that gives strength penalty to women and constitution buff to compensate @Crusaderknight20 mentioned it, though i don't see the project being realised anytime soon. Also i don't think anyone's going to disable warrior class for women considering how complicated it would be and unnecessary if women get strength penalty. If you want to play gimped warrior the choice shouldn't be taken from you.

How difficult would it be to switch them back (ie are they incomplete, place holders, or fully finished?). I think at least for myself, this would fix a lot of the problems of many of the female encounters seeming "odd" or "forced" in their positions (ie small 150lb woman commanding a rough group of 250lb+ men).

I ran the game with your mod, and many others, but none of them dealt with the obvious imbalance in these types of encounters, as well as the oddity of their positions (having personal experience with woman being put in a role they shouldn't (ie they were physically unable to function fully in that role), it has always been something that I have noticed I noticed due to that. Can't tell you how many women that were initially overcompensating with attitude and demeanor later break down in situations they truly weren't physically ready for. That is why it is a bit "game breaking" for me when I see it so much these days.

I wouldn't expect you to change it since you don't seem to see an issue with it, just interested based on what I had heard about the models.

I do see an issue with it actually. Every organization is headed by some boss girl and its a bit gross seeing the obvious woke agenda there. One or two especially in diplomatic positions is okay but every single one? No. Envuen supposedly wants to do the defeminization mod but hasn't gotten around to it yet.

And i said it felt like the roles "felt" like they were written for a man then blatantly pasted in top of a female character. There's no actual evidence of that in game just the feeling i get.

Even ser aylin was a test model for Aylin's armour. There's a set for every race, gender and bodytype. Perhaps some plan to make her armor a drop for Tav.
