Also, try changing the physics to 'Cylinder' in the dropdown below that. Rebuild your navigation mesh cache after, it's required. (I hope you guys already did this?)
How do you rebuild the nav mesh cache?

Does he mean just checking this option?

No, see my screenshot above.
Also, enabling the dialogue option to highlight unique dialogue for NPCs is very useful.

It's either unique dialogue or dialogue you haven't seen before, can't remember.

[edit]
It's for each unique response, regardless of NPC. So if you've already seen the response the NPC will give you, it's greyed out.

Decided to speedrun the main quest last night seeing as I won't be having as much free time to sink into it this month. Vergil's criticisms are an understatement - the main plot douses itself in gasoline, lights a match and proceeds to self-immolate, screaming about rakghouls and black vulkars as it forces you through a gauntlet of endless trash mobs and an interminable platforming sections. It's egregious amidst the faction and side quests, which are by no means stellar themselves.

I didn't get a chance to visit a couple of planets after acquiring the ship, but I expect that they're in line with what you see in Nar Shaddaa, Manaan and Kashykk, which are all quite decent. Of the faction quests, GenoHaradan was the one that stood out the most, especially the NarShadaa hit that misleads you on the target's location and then again with the guy wearing the hitman mask in the cantina. Also it's the only hit where the target can kill themselves by falling off the platform. The missing persons investigation on Dantooine would be the runner up.

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to complete too many of the faction quests to the end. Gray Jedi are locked behind attribute requirements for no good reason, but their camp is also a bitch to reach so perhaps its for the best. Hunter Federation would have been better off by giving you the full list of what you need to acquire in order to gain a promotion, rather than the back and forth it winds up as. Jedi camp was closed - I'm not sure they even have quests. The Sith questline seems to have a twist in there, according to the wiki, perhaps ill return to complete it at some point. Hutt cartel is a snoozefest. Became the fighting pit champion on tattooine and kashykk; the difficulty did not seem to scale properly so the fights on the latter were trivial.

Overall 7/10. Decent atmosphere that nails down the SW aesthetic. The VA is not good and there's a LOT of it. The music is not much better. The sidequests and the factions are alright, the main quest is a dumpster fire.
Yeah I did the same and speed ran it and I'm glad I did. That was the most jarring quest ever, even by starwind standards.

"Change dialogue topic color" under "Interface"?
I should have activated "Show owned item" on crosshair too.

Regarding the sewers,
I took the holding pins out of the wheel but nothing happened. How do I open the forcefield near that?

Same. There were also some holding pins on a wheel, up in the city. What the hell are they supposed to do?

Anyway it annoyed me, so I used toggle collision and it was just junk hidden behind that forcefield...

I think they don't matter. I got a sidequest later that involves putting something "into" the wheel.

Its for a side quest. Look for a farm in the desert.

Do NOT store items on your companions, it appears they go poof if your companion is KO'd in combat.
Not sure if it's all companions or just the droid, btw.

Yes. That fucking trashcan dies in one shot.

I sethealth 100 on it, which, for some reason, killed it? But you can access it's inventory, and take your stuff back and then resurrect it using command console.
That's if you have a lot of stuff stored in it-- I had like 300 ammo and some key items.

Remove the pins, insert the injector, interact with the wheel.

I kind of wish this mod went for the Galactic Civil War era instead of The Old Republic. The visuals already have sort of a Star Wars Galaxies vibe to them and I feel like that aesthetic would have translated easier. The Mandalorian and Sith trooper armors in particular are really rough.
Also I gave up on the Death Troopers mod and instead I think I'm gonna hop back in and try the Endor mod.

EDIT: Also I've been playing Battlefront II and I'm really missing having a jetpack to complete the larp so I nigger-rigged an amulet in the CS with 20 points of jump and one point of slowfall to kind of simulate a "jump jet". I feel like using the robe slot you could very easily make this a thing if you had a functional jetpack model and the know how.

Seems like the modders didn't bother to alter the underlying mesh and wound up duplicating bantha's horns for collision checking as well. I tcl-ed on top of them and indeed you step down the ridges.

The mod makes the game lag like crazy, probably stupid high poly or something.

Holy Mary, mother of God. That's a lot of polys. Was this thing made by Pajeets?

Also, the opening music during the intro crawl made me feel physically ill.

I mostly used what Rusty has on the OP. Though honestly, I didn't really bother with the addons while actually playing, so if you just want the core experience just make sure you use the Enhanced mod

Off-hand guess is that OpenMW likely uses a 16bit index for models and going over it may cause severe performance issues. But I 'm just spitballing.
