For anyone thinking that what is happening with Larian might not be a problem, I wish to remind of Bethesda and the horse armor DLC. Skyrim's Creation Club and then who knows what else. If they start the "We heard you modders!" bullshit, it will soon spiral into some sort of DRM made to specifically prevent some mods from working, or who knows what other tech. I know very little of how these things work, but I know they will jump at an oportunity to enforce compelled speech and "the right thinking" if they find a way. It will be something that modders can find a way to remove in the future, I am sure, but it will just be yet another battle, and, reminder, that in the UK some people were arrested for tweets or whatever it was. It is but a step, but it cannot go back once taken.
