Maniac Mansion

pros:
1.Surprisingly ambitious game considering its age ( non linearity in 1987? multiple protagonist to choose from? multiple solutions to some puzzles? multiple endings? That is some really impressive list for such ancient game!
2.With surprisingly good ui considering its age and compared with its contemporaries
cons:
3.Absolutely disgusting vomit inducing graphics
4.No story worth speaking about / no dialogs
5.Some god-awful unfun puzzles

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders

Slighly better story wise to mm with mostly same pros and cons. GFX in Pc version will make you vomit, FM Towns version has VGA graphics with 256 colors and looks good compared to other games from 1991 ( and you can look at this version almost without vomiting) , in this game case console > pc sadly. Still game aged too badly to be considered worth playing ( especially pc version aged like shit)
007: James Bond - The Stealth Affair

Game from 1990 but i will not pollute my blog with this shit.
Gfx will make you vomit but i have to say that ega version looks surprisingly good when compared with other ega games and not too much worse to vga version.
No story worth speaking about and some very shitty action moments and shitty puzzles. Plus some locations are unfun to explore. Game for extreme fanboys of james bond only.

That's all i have to say about pre 1990 games.
My first list will contain games from 1990-1994 ( because so little of them aged good enough to be considered worth playing today), second will cover 1995-1996 and finally every list after that will cover one year each.
On my blog i will cover decent to very good games while this thread will cover trash games and games disqualified for various reasons ( gfx / use based skill/stat leveling /
pixel art etc) Why? Because rusty likes trash.
