It does make me giggle everytime I look at it. I love how you just kept him bald only on top.
Though I'm surprised no-one has had a shitfit about bald elves, heh.
Voted for funniest mod.

Don't you worry, Vergil. I'm going to be making a special mod for your best, sweet boy Astarion. It'll soothe your wounds from such an offensive content.

At first I only laughed at this, but the more I look at it, the more I feel like it would've been a better choice than what we got. Not every character needs to be conventionally "beautiful", and it makes Astarion actually look and feel more like the magistrate he's supposed to be. I might actually use this next time I play.

Only thing that could improve it would be some pox scarring or something.

He was an elven magistrate who got turned into a vampire at the age of 39 iirc.
He's not supposed to be bald in any way, shape or form from his race alone. Unless you think baldness comes as a job prerequisite.
But it is undeniably funny to see him like this.

If he was turned at 39, he wouldn't have been fit to be magistrate, unless Larian took some insane liberties or Forgotten Realms have degenerated even more than I thought, because elves aren't usually considered adults until ~110.

And I wouldn't even mind if it was a job prerequisite. It's not like there's no historical precedent for certain learned professions and callings favoring various hairstyles.

Or just call it male pattern baldness. Not every realmself wins the genetic lottery.

Being turned at such a young (elven) age is part of the tragedy of his character.

Maybe, just maybe this is a mod that's meant to be a ****-take rather than a serious lore-friendly one. I might be wrong though.

Uh achktchually, this is the most lore friendly mod that exists. How else do we justify what an insufferable ***** he is?

Jordan Peterson calls anyone anonymous online a coward, and it's probably in response to either a critique/ mockery of him or something about ****. Such an amusing way with words.
