Of course they've made the love interest a girl-boss she-samurai. The adaptation from the 80s is kind of dated but still watchable.

and I hear its mediocre, so the only explanation is they're scouring any manhood or femininity they possibly can.

I swear Hiroyuki Sanada is always cast in any Hollywood movie about Japan, by default.

Hidden the part concerning to maiden because he's also done it, but I don't see a reason to hide the rest, linking a site that doesn't distribute criminal content (like CP for example) is not illegal in any shape or form (if it was r/piracy would be gone for years)

hah, it's a bit hard to be a zoomer in your mid thirties.

Anyway it was a suggestion related to what you were saying you were using it for, not the URL itself. Just good practice to stop such easily being seen/scraped by any old rando but whatevs, it's your post.

Why? It's good public information, I'd like less people being pwned because they accessed fake piracy site unbeknownst to them

I'd post the 1982 Conan trailer with the Sergei Prokofiev music, but apparently there was at least one more trailer after that. :(

Bad movie and I hate Disney Star Wars, but it was a very good trailer at creating suspense.

How often can you say something is "slop" or "trash" before you get tired of saying it?. Maybe it'll end up being a "good" movie, but it's not made to be a "good" movie, that isn't the intention. The intention has been, from the very inception of it's concept, to be propaganda. Despite the short trailer, I can tell this new Alien film is just checking those boxes, and I can't bring myself to pretend to be excited. I was never an Alien fan, and never understood the appeal personally, but for those that are- just move on. I even heard the recent ones were bad, so there really shouldn't be any excitement for this.

shogun novel is great and the 80s mini-series was also good. a very worthy adaptation.

Zero interest in the modern series remake.

Didn't even know this was being made. A worse version of the first Alien movie, huh... eh, I guess I can give it a shot when I watch it illegally on a pirate stream site.

They did their best to hide all the propaganda in the trailer. The fact they used a variation on the Prometheus music/noise should ring alarm bells.

I can picture them around the table now, "Yeah but what if, now just hear me out, instead of one face hugger, we have hundreds!"

Casually watched it and I was pleasantly surprised. Almost no woke shit, all-white cast (baring one wasian girl), no GNC shit, and a nice love story between a cute yet psycho goth girl and an undead Victorian boy. If you are into this type of edgy stuff like I am (undead, vampires, bpd hoes, etc), you'd probably enjoy it.

Alien is up there with Terminator and Predator for franchises that have somehow survived decades and more bad films than good off the back of like 1-2 good movies.
