jeez, why would anyone play Fallout 1-2 in such a high resolution?

Apparently little known Fallout 1 & 2 trivia(presumably using sfall): You can stretch the HUD with the log instead of the padding to actually make use the extra space. I don't remember how to do it off hand, but I do have screenshots of me doing it.


Also, I find 720p to be an acceptable resolution for late 90s/early 00s pre-rendered games when using a HD monitor. That is, assuming it's not stretching it.

I play it in 1080p on 1440p screen. So all good, mein nigger.

Classic roguelike experience right here. Stab a guy from stealth with a dagger and not only does he survive but he turns around and effectively one-shots me.

I had to backtrack to level 259 of the Myths of Malignost MS Word questline.

I'm using CRT-Royale with ReShade. The screenshots came out blurrier than it looks on the screen I use for the game.

One of my friends used to upload screenshots with a similar filter and they looked just as awful lol. Never understood this hipster shit. Why not just buy some used up crt monitor if you like it so much?

My screenshots look great. I don't use the shader for other games, so there's no reason to buy a monitor.

ironically if you took screenshots of the game while playing on an actual CRT monitor it would look nothing like those screenshots
