The characters are extremely uncanny, it's pretty damn creepy to look at. It's not Soy Effect: Androgynous bad, but it's close.

That's because they scanned in over 1,000 people for character creation. Those are real people's faces and bodies that you are choosing.

It's all uninspired. For a space setting you have.. classic shotguns, a P90 look-a-like SMG (did they watch a lot of Stargate ?), classic assault rifles.. no other species but humans.. the most boring spaceships ever designed in a space opera..

Did it even need to be a space game at all?
