The sex of the writer of this letter isn't stated, but it sounds like it should be a man writing to a woman named "Shimmer" so "gent such as yourself" would read better as "lady". It's on a desk in The Blushing Mermaid upstairs.
Thanks for flagging! Will include with next update
BG3 No Alphabets - remove modern day identity politics and irrationalities from Faerun.
BG3 Alternate Wyll Revamped - A revamped and complete version of the infamous white Wyll mod.
Why are you swapping genders? E.g. why change Nightsong from a lesbo into a man? Just cure her of homophilia and done.
1. The character was originally a man
2. The personality of the character remains that of a man
3. Changing her to be straight would require rewriting most of her content, as well as that of Isobel's.

I can perfectly imagine some old cougar writing this.
Hell, the captain and owner of The Blushing Mermaid is a somewhat old woman and talks exactly like this letter. I think that's ambiguous enough to leave in. (The letter in the sewers next to the drunk guy was much more in your face.)
What version(s) of the game does the mod support? Is it safe to update the game with this mod?
Will work with all versions. You can update just fine. If you ever encounter issues loading a save simply disable the Lingo mod and wait for update. In unlikely though. The mods are pretty simplistic so nothing there can ever harm or break your saves and you are free to disable and reenable the mods at any time and your saves will still work.

I had considered playing this, but I don't want to deal with all the stupid woke garbage no doubt infesting it. It may be decent if I could make a strict paladin character and slaughter every one I deem further from god for whatever indiscretion. You get smote, you get smote, everyone gets smote!
That's what I did when I started. Didn't get very far for several reasons, some of which are being rectified by our resident geniuses/autists/bigots/whatevers.
The only mods I use from Nexus are show shields, and Dwarf Voice. Will these mods conflict with each other?
No my mod only replaces specific voice lines, and gender of specific NPCs. Because I followed best practices... it won't be harming other unrelated stuff. If however you have a mod that replaces EXISTING text in some way, the Lingo mod will clash with it. By clash I mean, either this one or that one will work, not both.
Note if you add a mod with NEW text, (e.g. a new weapon name) it should work perfectly fine.

Makes sense, in previous BG titles, followers of Shar were portrayed as man hating, ball crushing priestesses.

That sounds very reasonable actually
Ah yes the part about giving a better life. Makes sense. Don't expect stronk independent women among the non adventuring commoners.

Is there a specific load order for the mods? As in, what goes first?
There's no load order for NoAlphabets. They complement each other rather than replace. But I don't there's any conflicts yet with BBAesthetics, but just in case you want to give NoAlphabets Aesthetics higher priority. Don't download Chris' loca file unless you want pronoun mismatches.

So this weekend I've been working on Aesthetics for Ser Aylin. It wasn't as straight forward as I hoped.
First to reintroduce the crack was not straightforward.
The prison clothes and armor were not animating at all during the magical boy transformation as intended.
Then Isobel was kissing Aylin's shoulder.
But! after much xml jiggery pockery I am pleased to announce that I have reimagined one of my favourite scenes in the game, as it should have originally been made! And everything works as intended. Watch Ser Aylin Freed Video

You continue to be the modder we don't deserve but desperately need.
I'll count down the days until the ree-ing from the usual suspects begins.

I wonder if I should post it on Nexus to trigger some people once this is all done.

Have you been advertising it elsewhere yet or are you waiting until it's finished? I'm certain you're going to be in more than a few butthurt articles once word gets out.

Nope, not advertised it. I'm just enjoying modding my own copy, and sharing with you nice people.

Sven that sneaky bastard left male aylin's entire Aesthetic config in the game files!
This shouldn't be surprising. I bet there are other surprises like this. I'm pretty sure it was WOTC that imposed all the... shenanigans... you see on your screen.
Thanks you for your work.
This is an another proof of totalitarian forcing, it's just like the menu where the symbols of man and woman are gone for this bullshit of "body type".

Also, the hair token. Women are the ones that generally use hair as a signal. Never heard of a woman wishing such a token from a man.
