It's going to suck when I finally ally with Nere and have to kill now straight and wholesome gnomes.
at least you can make him turn from the Absolute and stop him from killing the rest of the saved gnomes. and i wish i could snatch Kar'niss to my camp too

That Kar'niss was there just for shock value or the likes, or as a chance encounter like those goblins by the windmill was a travesty. The voice actor, the occasional sobbing, twitching, the eyes, the behavior, it is all that I would picture a drider to be.

There are a lot of one-off characters that we never get to see again. In some cases, such as Rugan, it's cut content; not sure about others, but it's a damn shame. Imagine if they had put as much effort into the rest of the game as they did the few interesting side characters. Genuinely tragic how much quality content we could've gotten but will never see because Larian has shit priorities. I imagine the devs that made the original content are quietly seething over their hard work being scrapped.

I'm genuinely interested how in the hells this whole process is happening. how's no one protesting, no one argues and no one says "no, your ideas are shit"? someone deliberately butchers character design, narrative, writing, story and everything everyone loves. someone nobody's ever heard about mind you.

"gortash facelift" on nexus actually does a good job at making him handsome young man. and it also makes gortash match his vanilla inauguration posters you first encounter at Wyrm's crossing

Also... sweet baby inc : consultants gaming company hires to make their game lame and gay: https://sweetbabyinc.com/

I bet they are all pedophiles.
this fucking site is one huge tumor, from its name to the way they talk about their "services". how braindead you have to be to interract with this looney bin, let alone consider asking for a... consultation? what??? you're paying shittone of money to ask someone's unrequited opinion that has no actual supply and demand? but again, we're talking about people who created "goodbye volcano high" duh :notsureif:

still better than receding hairline and slick back remnants of hairs. really tho, why if it's a man's hairstyle that showes forehead it's automatically balding lines?

Voice Version 4.2
  1. Valeria's 115 lines have been altered by AI to turn him into a female hollyphant.

Huge thank you to @Crusaderknight20 for helping me out with this.

Though it was the, perhaps last, tassel to erase the woke cult from the game, I would like to take a moment to mourn the voice actor's job, and how much better it could have all been if they gave him the chance to be a true hollyphant instead of a paragon of debauchery and laziness who gets insulted at every turn. I hoped for so much more, or some explanation as to why Valeria was so, in my eyes, down. Instead, no, Valeria wasn't down at all, she just likes to pat herself on the back and get reward in form of alchohol (and the sooner the better, justice be damned).

Done some more testing, turns out the problem wasn't in the mod manager but that it by default used dx9 executable, now i don't know why running the game on dx9 crashes the game for me but changing it to dx11 fixes it.

I did some more testing and it turns out that the game would still crash even if i tried to launch it trough mod manager with empty mod list. Then i tried Vortex and it helped, no more crashing.
I'm writing this in case someone else have this weird problem.

Oh I see, then install one of the Lingos from the "Old versions" section on my original post. If @Crusaderknight20 is keeping to proper coding practises he will have old versions of his mod that are affected by patches too ;P.
Thanks! I'll add it to the the instructions!

From what I recall from the statement they were just, but I might be reading it wrong, commenting in a joking way that players have so much variety, and yet they decide to use a white dude as their main (like going to a gala and the chefs are all proud to present their dishes and I go "I'll take some water from the tap, thank you.") From my memory of it, "journalists" spun it as being a big deal, but Larian themselves weren't stuck up about it (again, I could be wrong).
It's been a while for me, but I remember the original Larian post being unsavory about whole "yall have no imagination" kind of deal with picking generic looking guy. It was less in "joking lighthearted manner" and more "mocking".
Which, still brings my point about, why would people care about not that impressive customization when their playthrough in EA are constantly in a loop of replay. Just pick up a pre-made thing and go.
I can be wrong too of course. Won't go out of my way to find the first tweet / post. Larian piss me off enough already
I am with you. I stopped looking up things about Larian after the game was released. If it wasn't for the fact I always sided with Nere to free him of the Absolute in Grymforge I probably would have gotten the warning signs sooner seeing as half the svirfneblin (deep gnome) population is gay in this game.
Once again, it’s rather amusing that the “evil race willing to bomb and exploit everyone” is also the “extremely gay race.”

…Couldn’t this be fixed by just adding an “n” to the end of the name?

No because other NPCs refer to it as "Her". That would require dubbing over the pronouns. Lot more work than running lines through trained model.

I'm using BBA whiter version and No Alphabets, and seems to be working so far, but I read somewhere that they're compatible, and that I should use the minimalist version. Is this true? and what is it, that's making them uncompatible? What can I expect?

It's not that I mind POC or trans people, I just don't want them in my game, so thanks so much for making it possible for me to play Baldur´s gate 3. Not sure I could stomach it without.

Hi BBA whiter and Minimalist are both compatible with No Alphabets. What makes them compatible is there is no lingo file in these BBA mods and Nocturne hasn't been deleted, so in-game text that NoAlphabet changes doesn't get overwritten and Nocturne is present as a male when using No Alphabets.

Welcome new friend. Don't mind them, they're averse to the complexities of centrism.

And you all, stop bullying the poor newbie.
