IIRC their plan was to purchase as many IPs as possible to make themselves an attractive sale, and then have someone else purchase them, only for the c00f, and now the wars, to hit and make investors far stingier.

There are real **** companies, but these two aren't.

yeah but that's on Square Enix. NuLaras were competently made (unlike modern AAA games).

If i remember right the woke Avengers game was made by the core team behind the nuLara Croft games, and the (pretty good, IMO) Guardians of the Galaxy game was made by the core team behind the nuDeus Ex games.

If i remember right the woke Avengers game was made by the core team behind the nuLara Croft games, and the (pretty good, IMO) Guardians of the Galaxy game was made by the core team behind the nuDeus Ex games.

Their strategy was to immediately flip those companies to the Saudis for profit. When the Saudi deal fell through, they suddenly found that they had spent money they didn't actually have buying companies that couldn't deliver the goods.
