I dunno, if Munsters and Mammries is just going to make races a cosmetic choice that kills half the desire right there.

Camping a rare spawn for 48 hours is way more fun than a 10 hour raid. I'm not even joking.

It's not meant to be a 1-to-1 copy, the devs are aware of the problems EQ gameplay had. For the rest, I think FF XI is a great example of making a fun combat system with slow, deliberate real-time combat where you don't feel pressure to up your APMs to Korean levels. EQ2 did it as well to a lesser extent.
