Poroshenko eventually got sick of his shenanigans yes, when Saakashvili bit the hand that fed him like the dog he is trying to start his own political fiefdom in Odessa, but his citizenship was reinstated by our man Zelensky and invited Saakashvili back to Ukraine. Zelensky also offered Saakashvili a position in his government. Note that the pizzaface mayor of Kiev also offered Saakashvili to join his glowie party in 2019, but Saakashvili clearly had higher ambitions.

Later in 2021, after sneaking back into Georgia he was arrested, charged and convicted for illegal border crossing (lmao) and is now indeed rotting in prison (see: being already convicted in Georgia for abuse of power)

He was attempting to create a counter movement against the current ruling party, which incidentally is the one that cucked out against Saakashvili's erstwhile supporters. We may not have seen the last of Saakashvili, he is like herpes except he also glows. The only solution for a man like that is to have an accident in prison or suddenly become bereft with depression and hang himself by his underwear.
