SPACE WRECK, a sci-fi computer role playing game for personal computing devices, has exited early access and officially released. The game is modeled on Fallout 1, and has some similarities to Age of Decadence; a single playthrough is relatively short with the emphasis being on doing multiple playthroughs because of the large amounts of variety in how encounters and plot points can play out depending on your character's build and choices made over the course of the game.

But wait! The many lovers of progressive games such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield on this forum will be eager to know if the game features sex options beyond male and female on character creation, and the answer is yes! Sadly they are not as enlightened as Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield, lacking body type sliders and pronoun selection, but you can play as a neutral character, lacking the distinctions of male or female. Male players get a bonus to strength on character creation, females get a bonus to charm, and neutral characters gain a bonus to perception. I haven't played the game long enough to see if there are extended high-budget animated cutscenes of literal gay sex and bestiality, so fans of Baldur's Gate 3 might feel some trepidation about buying the game, and sadly for the Starfield fans I have played the game for 15 minutes and have not encountered a single person of color, but hopefully we can look past these issues.

Thinking about it now this game is somewhat closer to an Age of Decadence in space than Colony Ship ended up being. It's not a great game by any means, extremely limited, but it did have some spark of inspiration and the amount of "sequence breaking" and variable approaches and paths is pretty impressive.
