If not using the English version of the game, you don't need to use my localization file. It changes the names of a few Flaming Fist guards I changed from female to male and changes two of theFaceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ September 10th, 2023, 15:38Hello! Thanks for your efforts make the game more suitable to the description of "medieval fantasy". Is your modification compatible with other localizations (except English)?
If changes are so little may be i can adopt your changes to other languages? I don't familiar with the Baldurs Gate 3 modding, but if you tell me how, i can try.SniperChris wrote: ↑ September 10th, 2023, 16:51If not using the English version of the game, you don't need to use my localization file. Don't know how much help this comment is going to be, but I remember reading that users had a similar issue with that one mod that changes Minthara's face, to which one of the users replied that the portrait changed when she levels up.SniperChris wrote: ↑ September 9th, 2023, 22:01It is possible to modify the portraits - I just don't know how.
I will explain how I made the changes to the English file - but I must stress that I do not know if the other languages work exactly the same. I am only assuming they do, as I did not make any changes to any other languages.Faceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ September 10th, 2023, 18:17If changes are so little may be i can adopt your changes to other languages? This is how they were implemented in Planescape: Torment.thedestroyer88 wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 06:17Are Tieflings with visibly Negroid features found in DND canon?

Yea it's pretty funny that I was given a suspension for calling someone who made a rape mod a "weird freak" but a mod that alters a few NPCs appearance needs to be wiped from existance according to the admins.Rinso wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 13:17I was introduced to this site via a twitter comment while trying to find mods that got banned from Nexus. Thank you so much for all your efforts and everyone else to make improvements to BG3 and other games.
As far as im concerned, a single player game allows me to make / install whatever modifications I **** well feel like and given all the questionable mods on Nexus, i'm reminded of people living in glass houses should learn to shut the F up.
I look forwards to seeing how all these excellent mods evolve and seeing this site grow.
That's probably me. I am a very well-known ****-stirrer.

It's hard to say, but just like most things created from Tolkien-esque ideas, things are more-or-less derivate from the Caucasian phenotype.
I guess you could make a Tiefling out to have a black person's features, if one of said Tiefling's parents was of colour. Problem is: Tolkien was white. Making stories and worlds for white people. The thought never crossed his mind.
If, say... a black person, would decide to start writing at the level of Tolkien, I guess the art representing said black person's writing would reflect that.
I don't know what else to type. It's safe to assume they had a baseline of Caucasian features.
Games released in 1999, which means that the game was in development at least 3 years, what did you what from 3D graphics of middle nineties?Emphyrio wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 19:33why does he have boobs...The_Mask wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 08:36This is how they were implemented in Planescape: Torment.thedestroyer88 wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 06:17Are Tieflings with visibly Negroid features found in DND canon?

Because there weren't any other way to make 3D model of medieval armor. Also look closely, he's literally wearing pieces of metal tied to his body, not solid armor.Emphyrio wrote: ↑ September 12th, 2023, 17:32what does that have to do with him having boobs?Faceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ September 12th, 2023, 17:21Games released in 1999, which means that the game was in development at least 3 years, what did you what from 3D graphics of middle nineties?Emphyrio wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 19:33

It's a version on the art that was in the sourcebooks from TSR, and that art was just like that, but worse.Emphyrio wrote: ↑ September 12th, 2023, 17:32what does that have to do with him having boobs?Faceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ September 12th, 2023, 17:21Games released in 1999, which means that the game was in development at least 3 years, what did you what from 3D graphics of middle nineties?Emphyrio wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 19:33

I think it was in a chain from Dan Vasc's video of Az (Heelvsbabyface) doing his rant after losing it after the "I'm a clone of a man" thing. So if that was you, then you have good choice in youtubers but manbuns are gay.The_Mask wrote: ↑ September 11th, 2023, 18:49That's probably me. I am a very well-known ****-stirrer.
