Modern (western) devs are way too insecure about people enjoying games "wrong". They lack respect for the player.

Styg crazy banalcing the game, nerfing different builds etc ruined his own game by making it into another Pillows of Eternity, made by another ballinsefag. **** balance, in something like Troubleshooter you can really build fun powerful builds. I think Styg even messed up with how stuff works inside the game to prevent people from using CheatEngine :D
Last time I played, there were CheatEngine tables and code that worked fine.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.

Larian is one of the few devs that doesn't do this, shame they won't make another good game unless Swen decides to shut down all the satellite studios and size way down.
In act 2 of DOS2 there's a high level bridge troll you're supposed to figure a way to get around, I used rain + transmute surface to bring lava all the way across the map and dump it onto him. Gave him the ol' bucket of lavaroo.

Larian is one of the few devs that doesn't do this. In DOS2 there's a...
...an annoying armor system created solely to prevent players from abusing crowd-control spells, because Swen was insecure about people enjoying DOS1 the wrong way.

Yeah, someone has made new/updated table for Underrail, but at least for a time Styg supposedly tried to prevent people from using CheatEngine.

So Styg is autistic or has some ego issues if he does not want people to enjoy his game the "wrong way" on their own free time. Jesus what a ******. Reminds me of Doom modders that would sabotage your game if you altered their precious mod.

He's an autist, but at least he isn't filling his game with degeneracy.

That is true but maybe he could make another game in the next 10 years and this time have companions.

Having companions would ruin the atmosphere of underrail, IMO.

Having a companion actually makes more sense than some lone ****** without backup.

Games without companions simply aren't RPGs

I don't see how being an alpha male is being a ******. I didn't need friends in Underrail, I was the apex predator.

Homie knows that if you need someone to hold your hand, you aint good enough to play the game. It's like Dark Souls, you summon help, you suck.

Or a mission with some lone gunman is likely to fail due to that being dumb **** you see in movies. It's not because UnderRail is hard, it's because it is boring.

For some games I would agree with you but I think having companions would hurt Underrails bleak and lonely atmosphere. Just my opinion, maybe it could have been OK with companions.

The only dogs in the game are enemies, all of them deserve death, especially the mutant ones.

The entire basis for the genre is A Boy and his Dog.

That is a bold statement you won't be able to back up if pressed.
