I'll be happy to vote for Rogue Trader as retroactive GOTY once it gets all fixed and patched in like 5 years.

One picked the actual rpg of the year, the other picked anything else just to seem too cool to play popular games.Atlantico wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 14:4657% Tranny's Gate 3 so far. Turns out RPGHQ is more pozzed than the Codex
Only the jrpgs.Mondain wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 14:58One picked the actual rpg of the year, the other picked anything else just to seem too cool to play popular games.Atlantico wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 14:4657% Tranny's Gate 3 so far. Turns out RPGHQ is more pozzed than the Codex
To be fair, I'd be surprised if anyone there actually plays rpgs.
Nigger how is that game any good? Nobody can ever answer that?
It's pozz free. Since I'm not a faggot, that's a good thing in my book.Lhynn wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 17:58Nigger how is that game any good? Nobody can ever answer that?
Its the fucking "What is a woman" of videogames.
What the fuck is good about that garbage?
So is playing with a bucket of piss.Element wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 19:33It's pozz free.Lhynn wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 17:58Nigger how is that game any good? Nobody can ever answer that?

Oh, I didn't dislike anything about it. I just played the previous version and saw no need to buy another version of the game.SpellSword wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 08:22@SoLong What about the Persona 3 Portable version did you dislike?SoLong wrote: ↑ February 24th, 2024, 19:30I enjoyed Persona 3 but not as the portable version a little more than BG3 overall. So I'll put my vote there since BG3 will likely win overall anyway.
Protest vote against bg3 because popular bad.Lhynn wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 17:58Nigger how is that game any good? Nobody can ever answer that?

Less of a 180 degree turn and more of a way to remove mold from an otherwise perfectly appetizing meal.Decline wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 01:47tbh if that was enough to turn the game around 180 degrees for you, you are probably gay.GOW LIKE A BOSS wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 00:55@orinEsque and @Crusaderknight20 turned BG3 from my biggest disappointment into my favorite game of the year. Thank you both.
There are games that have naturally low playtime needed while others naturally require hundreds of hours. This criteria is quite unfair to some games.Boontaker wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 07:20I voted based on playtime. A "good" game is subjective, but denying the game you spent the most time in is retarded.
If it wasn't so fucking broken and felt more finished and polished, I'd probably have voted Rogue Trader, yeah. I hope to return to it in a year or so, but I also think that it'll be one of those games where I won't have any difficulties sticking to that idea.BlueMemphis wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 11:14I'll be happy to vote for Rogue Trader as retroactive GOTY once it gets all fixed and patched in like 5 years.
Don't get me fucking started. People that claim that there's such a thing as a game being "too long" needs to be attacked in the streets. Imagine playing the entire Infinity Engine series and pretending they're not all basically the same game done in different ways.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 08:02So-called "games" with less than 100 hours of content are in fact paid demos.
I don't need it, but I want it, for the same reason I don't need to have a blanket to sleep but I like being snuggly.maidenhaver wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 08:15If you need 100 hrs with a game, you're a fieldnigger incapable of adapting to new challenge.
That makes sense. A lot of RPGs are a single playthrough affair.SoLong wrote: ↑ February 25th, 2024, 19:54Oh, I didn't dislike anything about it. Perhaps the only time in history a remake has been too conservative.SpellSword wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 08:40On the topic of Persona 3 I was surprised they'd go to the trouble of remaking it in Persona 3 Reload and then not include both the content from Persona 3 Portable and Persona 3: FES.
Past 20 hrs, and its a physical need.Luckmann wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 08:38I don't need it, but I want it, for the same reason I don't need to have a blanket to sleep but I like being snuggly.maidenhaver wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2024, 08:15If you need 100 hrs with a game, you're a fieldnigger incapable of adapting to new challenge.
True! In one of the earliest posts on this forum, I said that Caves of Lore would be 2023 Game of the Year. I'm glad to be proved correct.
