To be honest.... It's going to be a pain

I'll look into it when I've done the 6 statues and the textures.

It was easy for the Devs to pose an already modelled NPC with armour, but it's not so easy to change the position once it's been finalised as a statue.

I prefer the Augustus salute too. It definitely gives it more of a leader feel

It pretty obviously used to be rigged. The old ***** Elf head preset on an NPC with armour, to be specific.
But now the only skeleton is a dummy one for inanimate objects, which means the pose is now part of the overall form.

Looking at it again in the op… the statue itself looks surprisingly… low quality tbh. Not blaming the OP, I'm going to guess that's due to Larian.

Yeah, it's very low poly, with all the detail coming from the Normal map.

That larian one looks like a ungodly mixture of ***** and ******. Fat lips, slanted eyes, all the while he tries to hold in his ****.

What's the feasibility of creating a statue like this by creating a similar character from the parts in blender, adjusting the pose, and then some manual texturing with stone materials?

MUCH better and in fact in a slightly weird way in character. :-)
