Did they ever release statistics like this again? Wonder if this is still true

they released race/class and human still managed to be #2 despite them straight up removing the human racial bonus, #1 class was paladin, shadowheart was romanced in over 50% of all playthroughs including playthroughs with no romanceloregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 19:34Did they ever release statistics like this again? divinity original sin 1 & 2 shipped with the sdk used to make the gamesBobT wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 21:38Surely there's SO many internal tools they have for making maps and doing all the animations etc. Which modders could have a field day with.
If it's more than this, then Larian is doing a horrible job of showcasing that. Only thing I'm seeing is indication that Nexus's BG3 Mod collection will get flooded with more fruity **** more than it already is.BobT wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 21:38lol so it's just a gui / parser for the xml files (because designtards can't read), and a mod manager (which you already have?).
They have to protect the Karlach Pegging animation from being replaced, probably
Styg, developer of Underrail's default position.loregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 17:48but what I really fear is assets getting encrypted. If studios started doing something similar to DRM to protect their games from being modded, that'd be game over.
I was going to make a mod to add dogmeat but couldn't be assed after learning it was obfuscatedRand wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 22:03Styg, developer of Underrail's default position.loregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 17:48but what I really fear is assets getting encrypted. The game code and data is obfuscated to a literally insane degree.
That last line of them demanding the freaks to "go crazy" with their self-inserts does basically confirm that these devs unironically expect the edgy fetishists to be the vast majority of their audience. lmfaoloregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 19:34Did they ever release statistics like this again? Patch 7 and modding tools(?) releasing next week. Can’t wait to see how useless they are and have to update all of our mods the same way we always have
loregamer wrote: ↑ February 23rd, 2024, 18:32Also if you have steam and want to forcefully prevent Steam from updating your game, you can go to steamapps folder and set appmanifest_1086940.acf to read only:► Show Spoiler

I am somewhat excited, and somewhat terrified.
Good thing I already deleted the game. I'll just wait until they unfuck everything, or rather until you guys unfuck everything they messed up.loregamer wrote: ↑ September 1st, 2024, 15:33Make sure to prevent updates if you’re using steam until our mods are updated

These are the only things I've logged on to check since BG3 started getting updates btwloregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 16:54Larian just released a Community Update. I'm sure everyone will be pleased and HYPED to know they made MORE Astarion kissing animations.

It feels as if they started to get into the romances and forgot they were making a game.Finarfin wrote: ↑ September 1st, 2024, 17:11Oh btw, larian is so incompetent that they rather fix kiss animations than just put in a new race. A literal ******* modder put the Tabaxi in and it looks like an official race straight from larian.

I'm guessing it's third-party because they are not vetted by the devs via their mod menu ****.

Oh btw, the tabaxi mod that I mentioned a while ago.

We knew this wasn't the case for months tho..loregamer wrote: ↑ July 16th, 2024, 16:54Was hoping we'd see stuff like level editing, NPC editing, animation tools, support for creating quests/dialogue, a quote from at least ONE script extender modder, etc. I reckon this will end up just being a visualizer for the way we currently make mods but for dummies.

The one thing that could make BG3 awesome isn't possible with their tools.
No adding additional areas to the game, no removing sp00ky gh0sttown, no finishing Upper City.
Man, I love the Khajiit, such a cool race.BLofbr wrote: ↑ September 5th, 2024, 18:11Finarfin wrote: ↑ September 5th, 2024, 18:07I'm guessing it's third-party because they are not vetted by the devs via their mod menu ****.
