I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask for this, but does anyone know of any mods that DeWoke-ify Solasta?

I'm enjoying the combat and options for character builds so far (of course, with the UB mod installed, not vanilla), but there's a lot of crap the game has that would turn me away.

Characters in this game just look so **** ugly, and stuff like pronoun selection, and "Voice 3" being of the opposite gender makes me overlook any of the positives this game has.

Not aware of any.
The pronoun selection was actually a last-minute bait-and-switch after they already funded the game via kickstarter and sold early access copies. The PR guy basically told people to **** off when they complained about it.

That's a shame. I was hoping there would be something to reduce this crap after all these years, oh well, glad I didn't buy the game at least.

I'll keep on sailing the high seas till something worthy comes along :pirate:

As far as I know, the pronoun selection is the only woke thing in the game. It's also pure virtue signaling, because being referred to as male/female never comes up again. (I think Roguey found one example.)

Another reason not to put your money into crowd funding. At any moment the devs can go mask off and add all sorts of shitlib globohomo **** into the game after they've taken your money.

I just had to look at Wayward Realms again.

This is all they are saying about character creation.
Character Creation - The Wayward Realms will feature 8 unique playable races: Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Orks, Ogres, Goblins, Cambion, and Fey. Players will be able to customize their character's features, as well as pick from various skills and advantages/disadvantages to define their character’s playstyle.
Of course, there will be some combination of pronouns, body type, voice type etc. and obviously they already know that.

On Steam some dev further claims that romances are not their focus right now, but they may add some later. Right...

Two years ago they have replied that on the usual LBTQSGFTAS question, before instant locking the thread.

I see they are going down the "gays and transgenders have always been apart of a vibrant and diverse history" route of cope and yet when you look at the examples of "transgenders" and "notable homosexuals" it's always baron salazarr von kindertoucher committing pederasty and was universally reviled until the "experts" reviewed the "history" through another "perspective" and not some brave non-binary kween saving the realm as will be presented.

Also adding tiers to allow people to buy their own OCs into the game is a guaranteed way to get some ****** with neetbux adding their ******** self insert to the game.

Chineses used to be cool in the movies old devs would have been watching, I reckon. Though I guess the question is then "Why was there so much Chinese **** in movies back then?"

There's a new Temple+ update out for ToEE.
https://co8.org/community/threads/new-t ... 49/page-29

This is the 3rd or 4th update where I think "I should play that again" and then forget about it.

Is Temple+ just a bug-fixing patch, or one of those mods that add new content and break the game's balancing by allowing you to have a huge party with classes/spells not supported by the original game?

It's a near complete rewrite of the game engine, with extensive bug fixes and a bunch of optional stuff.
co8 is the equivalent of the "plus patch", it's not required when using Temple+.

https://github.com/GrognardsFromHell/Te ... /Changelog

The game is nearly unplayable without Temple+ IMO.

Any of you played Eschalon?
Yes, I quite enjoyed it except for how slow the main character moves. Replay value lays in different class types. Cozy aesthetic and classic gameplay.

This is literally what happened in one of the CRPGs I occasionally like to play which is Pathfinder: Kingmaker. A super ****** and universally hated self-insert called Darven who only appears in the game story to boss the player around even though you play as an actual monarch in this game. lmfao

Co8 has also changed a lot over the years. Now all, or most, of the optional high-level stuff is moved into post-original game. There's also a version without any of the optional encounters.
