Locomalito is a cool dev who makes old school games and releases many of them for free. I recommend Curse of Issyos but he has plenty others.

I am shilling for Halls of Torment, it’s like Diablo meets Vampire Survivor. Very addicting
I’m also shilling this game because it looks cool, and also has a free demo I need to try.

Green Man Gaming is having a birthday sale so a bunch of stuff is on sale
https://www.greenmangaming.com/
qrd on GMG is they're a legit seller who gets their keys directly from the publisher so they tend to charge a bit less than Valve baseline.

That Necromunda game is pretty cheap
Has mixed reviews but I've heard decent things about it?

I appreciate they're trying to get more attention for the older marathon games given the announcement of bungo's ass backwards revival of the franchise, but it's less of a pain to just download the legally free aleph one and these glorified DOOM WADs without steam's always online DRM bullshit.

Single-Player RTS by Russian guys. You can kill ISIS in the game and yeah they are the bad guys in, I think, all campaigns.
Whole bundle with DLC campaigns goes for under 10 €. Played a bit, gave good impressions, and other buyers vouched for its quality.
Can vouch for the game. It's not just free of pozz, but actually anti-pozz with the fictional forum posts and news excerpts you get to read between missions.Kowe wrote: ↑ May 25th, 2024, 19:17Played a bit, gave good impressions, and other buyers vouched for its quality.
It's also a brutally hard game - it really hammers home how vulnerable tanks are in an urban environment, especially the older Soviet tanks. And that's a thing I love about the game, being able to play with Russian equipment, and having to steal enemy tanks and vehicles you find in missions.
About the only things that irk me is that you can't update your early police units to army formations, mortar teams all carry singular mortars (instead of one guy carrying the mortar, one the plate and one the ammo), and there's no easy way to order you vehicle to reverse in a specific direction (which usually leads to your tank getting an RPG in the rear).
Still, very fun semi-arcade experience. Devs also made a previous game in the same vein, and just recently released a Terminator RTT game in the same engine.

This actually looks surprisingly good, I was expecting a lot less effort and polish from syrian warfare just based on the title.Kowe wrote: ↑ May 25th, 2024, 19:17
