Uhmm... It is OK to mod away characters that are "majority" according to one of these insane virtue signallers (without explaining what this means, of course).... So, at what point does this "majority" actually become a minority, and is it not OK any longer at this point? Since asian-looking characters are in the "majority" in e.g., Elden Ring, is it OK to mod them away and replace them with characters that look more caucasian? We should presume so, if we follow this distorted "logic"...

To this person I would say: Then we need a DAI mod that makes Solas a (poc) ***** person who is secretly in love with Corypheus, but jealous of him because he's more successful in being an insane wanna-be-god set out to destroy or dominate the world. You know, because he's "majority" (fair-skinned and heterosexual). Also, it would in fact be a bugfix for his personality and behaviour in the game. :smug:

What I appreciate about modding is CHOICE. If you want to make your game more realistic in regards to what it would have been like in a "Eurasian-European" like setting, set in medieval times (despite the fantasy element) where society was homogeneous, you have the CHOICE to download mods which makes your game like it. However, if you don't, you have the CHOICE not to. The freedom to choose is a wonderful thing, and I wish the modding community and the majority of the fanbase wouldn't hound and sideline talented creators who offer people more options to enjoy their games in a way they want to.

On my current playthrough Balthazaar refers to Aylin as a 'her' during the scene where he first confronts you at the Soul Cage.

When choosing option 4 - "My companion has her own plans for this one. Stand down."

Balthazaar replies, "Aylin is an aasimir bound to a Soul Cage of my own creation. Lending her immortal strength of General Throm."

  1. I've completely revamped the Lingo mod. Now it ONLY has changed lines in it. This makes the entire mod a lot more future proof. No more "Not Found" messages when you have new patches! Nothing should break. You might have to reinstall the mod tho. You should be able to use it with another mod that edits localization. Thanks @loregamer for your help!
  2. IMPORTANT: remove NoAlphabetsLingo from your loader. From version 4.5 onwards you have to extract the NoAlphabetsLingo ZIP file to your Baldur's Gate 3 Data folder, which looks something like:
    C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data
  3. Fixed 7 voice lines for Aylin related lines, 2 Voicelines for Sebastian
    β–Ί Sebastian line UUID
  4. Fixed a bunch of typos in Lingo file.

TLDR: We have over 1500 terrible, abominable, shameless, nazis that found their way here to customize the personal copy of their game. :lol:

Translations/Dependencies: Added instructions for translators to conform to new format. You basically add NoAlphabetsLingo as a "new language" in this way. Nope Translations have to still be done the old way :(. Game will only accept 1 translation at a time.

Thank you for the update, but why is the Lingo file no longer a .PAK file?
Will you be releasing a .PAK version later?

BG3 gets very picky when a .pak file is removed. I am testing it out now and hoping it does not break my save game.

Removing the .pak file did not break my save. I got the usual warning message but it loaded fine.

Don't worry, It won't. The pickiness comes from script extender mods and item adding mods specifically.

I'll consider adding the pak version if we can't get translations to work.

If you copy the Localization file directly into the Data folder, the folder structure needed will be maintained. You don't have worry about manually placing the files.
Overall folder structure is:
Data/Localization/NoAlphabetsLingo/NoAlphabetsLingo.loca
Data/Localization/language.lsx

Note: Non English Users will need to continue using the full Loca file as a pak, unfortunately. This means translators need to stay on top of patches. I'll post the pak version soon.

Just registered to say that this is an insane amount of (good) work. I'd never install the game in the first place after the bait and switch they did in the last patch of the early access where they pozzed up the game (once it was too late to refund it) in order to not give them a player count on Steam, but a huge thumbs up for making something like this in the first place. I have never seen a more pozzed RPG.

  • Identity Carousel is correctly hidden once again
  • Shouldn't be able to toggle Hide clothes in NoGen version either
  • Tested and still works as intended with Improved UI

That's correct. When the game launched in EA it was completely normal, it had gendered icons and none of the other degeneracy in the creator or in the game itself. On the LAST patch of EA, several characters were made black, and "non-binary" and other degeneracy were added to the creator. Alas, at that point I had 50h+ in the game and it was impossible to refund it. Regardless, fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice.. they won't be fooling me twice. I'm done with Larian.
